New two day format, great payout for Saturday, and cooler but dry weather for the weekend. Looks to be another great year for the JRM! Any non IRA guys making the trip up to cedar lake?
so far i've found kaleb johnson, Brooke Tatnell (obvious reasons), Riley Goodno, Jack Anderson, gage pulkrabek, christopher thram, jack dover
these others may be in attendance: scott broty, Brendan Mullen, Luke Nellis, Kelby Watt, Justin Henderson, Jamie Ball, Scott Winter, Andy Pake, Weston Olson, Jack Croaker, mark dobmeier, matt wasmund

Guessing a good count with basically no chance of rain. Not sure on the purse but 10k to win Saturday doesn't mean that any other positions either night pay more than standard. My guess is they do but have not seen a payout schedule. 12-15 WingLESS guys coming to join the UMSS from what I heard. Between three classes guessing 85 cars, hopefully not more than that. Going to be COLD! Bring LOTS of winter gear.

My favorite race of the year! I can only make Friday as my son races his final go kart race on Saturday. We bought a micro sprint to race next year. It's been ten years since I raced in my career and it was at this race.
Should be a great weekend of racing! According to the Facebook page of this race, it is $750 to start the 410 race.

The preregistration graphic has 39 drivers already committed and it sounds like they are expecting 100ish sprints now

When we used to race snowmobiles in Wisconsin one of our favorite things to help stay warm was to go buy a hot Dr. Pepper at the concession stand. They'd have a coffee urn full of it keeping it piping hot.
Do they still do that at tracks when it's cold up there?
My other favorite track hack to stay warm was to order hot chocolate - but tell them to fill it with coffee instead of hot water - and that seemed to work quite well on the cold nights.
But one thing is for sure, about 5 minutes after the races are over and you're in your vehicle going home, you forget about how cold it was - and are left with memories of the great racing to take its place.
CLS should be a really good show this weekend!

A fifth of your favorite tucked into a waistband keeps a guy warm too! Got a few friends who want to go friday. I will literally throw 4 extra winter coats in the truck as I know they won't come prepared. Already got my long underwear ready to go.
IRA site confirms what North Star mentioned - over 100 cars now. Too many but I guess better than too few. Start time moved UP with qualifying/hot laps at 5:30 now.

myracepass has the 410 list currently at 42 drivers and the wingless groups at 25, I'm curious to see if dobbmeier or a few more of the nosa guys make the tow over
