I would care about the drama leading into tonight's King's Royal, but they could ruin it with one spin of the wheel and put the 31-36th fastest cars on the pole of a heat and directly into the A-main.  So, I have to think ahead to the next non-gimmicky event these guys will race at.  I'm sure the buzz at Eldora is huge, but I want to talk about early-August.

When was the last time we had this much drama leading into the Knoxville Nationals?  I remember some years where there was some great stories going in.  But, has there ever been a buzz like this?  I was not around out there for the previous splits in sprint car racing, etc, but with social media adding more and more fuel to the fire, this has to be about as intense as I've ever seen.  I feel like its a publicity dream come true.

Thoughts?

After last night there is no doubt the gravel larson rivalry is real. Anytime here on out, if these 2 are racing each other, everybody will be watching them. Similar to the kinser swindell days.
