If he isn't winning, he's whining. Blames everybody else for his mistakes. The last few races he's looked like a dart without feathers.

Not sure if I agree with your overall point, but last night I did catch the issue with he and Hank Davis and I wasn't quite sure what Sam was so hot about. I can understand the frustration given the points situation, but Hank did no wrong and nearly had Sam cleared when Sam came up into him.
Sidenote - last night was a master class in how not to run a show. A lengthy delay due to fence repairs in the ASCS B is unfortunate - running mod lites and whatever the hell Spectator As are before the sprints when it's already 11 pm is just such a bad decision. I'm sure there were people who traveled long distances for a National 360 show given there wasn't a lot of sprint car racing going on in the midwest, forcing them to sit through that crap when the night is already going late is cruel and unusual punishment.
Decisions like that are the among the primary drivers of declining attendance. Gotta be smarter.

So well said Sprintfan
for the life of me, I cannot figure out why promoters do this. It's no disrespect to the mod lights or other classes, but the fact is people do not drive hundreds of miles or hours away for those classes.

those who admit they make mistakes go on to greatness, Sam is a legend in his own mind, his sour attitude is probably why his his success with the 410's hasn't amounted to much, I think it's what they call karma, you'd think after he won that race at Eldora, he would be racing with High Limits or the Outlaws this year, instead he goes racing 360's with ASCS.

I don't know Sam personally. I've never talked to him. But the way he drives and the way he talks and the way he acts towards fellow drivers makes it easy to not be a fan.
