Any word on the chages coming to the High Limit roster in 25 ?
Heard the 13;14;8 and 83 will all look different.
Someone switching to the Outlaws.
What is Chase Randell doing he has popped up a couple places but nothing solid.

Some will hold, some will fold. Some will walk away, some will run. They won't count their money, while they're sitting in the high limit room. There'll be time enough for counting, when the seasons' done.

I heard the 14 has their driver to replace Day and it is not Randall. One of the HL teams is replacing their driver and switching to Outlaws. Garrett Williamson and Danny Sams may be considering rookie of the year runs with the Outlaws. Another big rumor is both series may be approaching 20 cars. I think B.S. on that, but 14 to 15 each would be great.

Kind of bummed on this - obviously the team has not had the results needed but by all accounts Cory is an excellent dude and that team seemed to have somewhat turned it around since making some changes with personnel and car configuration. It seems clear it was not to the level needed to keep the second operation running and I don't think I can disagree.
The Reutzel full time thing is quite the conundrum. I think he'd out-perform what Cory did in the car this year and probably nab a few wins. Comparing to the 2024 HL roster, I'd squarely put the Reutzel/87 combo behind Sweet, Sunshine, Rico, Jmac and Corey Day, but after that it gets murky. Reutzel's aggressive style would likely lead to some more wins, but could also hurt a points run. However, if some pieces are moving around (ie: Jmac to Australia, Peck/CJB to WoO, etc.) then I think it might make a lot of sense for RSR to explore this.
The only real question is if Aaron wants to do it - Sprint Car Ratings has him at $125K earned this year, I don't know if that is only tallying 410 money or includes 360s, but he only shows 49 events (which all appear to be 410), so it might be more efficient for him to run similar to this year. I think I recall him saying he didn't want to tour with young kids and I believe he has them so he might prefer doing that again.

Kind of suprised from this for Aaron. He's mentioned multiple times he's happy running locally and the big shows, b/c of the young family.
Maybe he didn't have a choice for next year.

Just curious if this is something that has some traction, or if it is just speculation. ?? I have nothing against Cory, but A-Aron would outperform Cory by a mile IMO.
Also, good news for another Hoser---with Cory available, this give TSR the opportunity to offer Donny a severance package, and get him signed ASAP!!

I have a feings its Donny who needs to make the decision to let "TSR-sprint division" resign.
Even though I may not know you, I

A lot to digest here. If Jmac goes to AU, then who takes his seat, and then what happens if he gets into the top 5 at the end of the year...again speculation.

For the top 5 charter deal it's car owner points not driver points so any driver can fill the charter seat beginning in 2026 if the car gets a charter in 2024 or 2025. The Roth 83 is 4th in points and has a charter position for now even though McFadden is 6th in driver points leaving the 14 car one spot out of a charter in 6th in owner points.

I have heard a couple of names for the JMR 14. Peck, Baston, Sanders, Randall. One person that I would be interested to see in the 14 would be Tanner Holmes. Yes he has struggled this year and has been very hit or miss but with the right opportunity he could be competing weekly for wins with High Limit.

The part about Cory being out of the ride due to RSR scaling back is true. As far as Aaron running High Limit full time next year, that is not etched in stone as that's his choice to make. I imagine he has a lot to think about right now....

I was only joking of course.
Tony did state he would run the TSR sprint car team until Donny no longer wanted to. Reading between the lines, I would say once Donny retires, TSR retires with him. Pure speculation of course. I didn't confirm with Tony and Donny over lunch or anything.

I think that would kind of be the advantage of the HL schedule. They get a national tour feel and pay, but run about 20 to 25 races less. Also about a third of the races are close to home and in his region. I believe any team that finishes 6 thru 10th in the HL standings this year and races next year are very likely to get the other 5 charters. Another top 10 points finish would gaurantee an average finish in the top 10. I think that gets you a charter.

It also does not factor his point from money from Knoxville. I think it will be around 15k. But remember with HL he could always go and race 360 and 410 shows when it makes sense and not be penalized.

If you run the HL, you're likely to run the big races like the Knoxville Nats, King's Royal, etc. So it isn't actually 20-25 races less.

Knoxville is his home now. Anything there would be a home race and he did not run King's Royal this year. I am sure there would be more flexibility. I was surprised to see him at Port, but he didn't race Lernerville. He raced Lucas oil Speedway instead closer to home. Now he is going back to run Eldora. He has currently 49 410 starts this year so far.

Yeah and I’m thinking RSR could put Reutzel in the car next year and have a pretty good shot at securing a charter next season. Considering they wouldn’t have to worry about Sweet, Courtney, Rico and the other 2 guys that secure Charters this season. I don’t think there would be 5 non-charter guys who would beat A-aron in points next season. Beating HL at Port Royal had to be pretty sweet for A-aron. The HL schedule would allow him more family time to go to kids sports games and things like that - assuming HL has a similar, condensed schedule next season.
The “Series Split” has worked out really for Roth Motorpsports this season. McFadden will likely secure a High Limit Charter for them. Kofoid has been on fire lately (4 wins out of the last 5) and should win rookie of the year for the Outlaws.
This season has been great and there is still some more left !
