Just watched him dominate on night 1 of the Summer Nationals at Skagit. He's won four his last five features on the west coast. Kid is 18 from Clovis, CA.
Huge inverts in this event to earn points for placements in night two tomorrow. Heats inverted by 8. Feature was inverted to 18. Gordon started 18th and dominated. It was.... impressive. Reminded me of the last time I watched a youngster win the Summer Nationals at Skagit. That was Buddy Kofoid.

Night two just as impressive. Battled with Trey Starks for first ten laps and got sent to the back due to having to be pushed twice after a yellow. Went from 20th back to 2nd.

I agree. He's a good one for sure. My son and I ran across the team working on their car in the parking lot of a motel, and they were really nice, too. I'm a fan.
