The production quality or even the biggest dirt track events doesn't measure up to a typical NFL, NHL, MLB, NASCAR or Olympics broadcast. They're better than they've ever been but we can't expect that kind of production value. I'm more in the camp of those happy that streaming dirt races has become a viable option. Some of the first I got early on would freeze up and were close to a total waste of time and money. I'm content with what we've got but a lot of folks are way more demanding than me.

Is there anything you like about streaming, or sprint car racing in general?
Sure doesn't seem so.
If you can do better, put your application in to the WRG and/or HL.

I dunno, seen some pretty stupod irrelevant questions by teeny bop girls at hockey games all in the name of inclusivity and equality. Maybe the interviewer isnt a polished media guru but they usually are race fans, therefore relevant.
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

You have zero ability to read the room. Do you really think Sprint car fans care about "polish" the drivers may or may not have? Most of us love the sport because it isn't "polished" go back to ball washing the stick n ball bullshit.

Your typical dirt track racer is an average Joe who might live down the street from you. He's not a corporate asset that has been sent to PR classes to learn how to talk to the media in a sqeaky clean mannner like million dollar sportball players... and Nascar drivers.

I literally only watch the local drivers interviews on the streaming venues. I already know what Larson and Rico are going to say. They've said it a million times. They've been here and done that.
I want to see the "never have" and "might never again" get interviewed on the front stretch.
In the internet world, their 15 seconds of fame will live on forever.

A majority of drivers, even Outlaw and Hi Limit guys, are heavily involved on the mechanical side and working on the cars vs what Nascar drivers are. There really isn't time for them to "polish" their interview skills. Not to mention, a majority of the sponsors in sprint car racing are your mom n pop/family/regular Joe type business' who love racing and have some spare money to associate with a driver(s). Those thrown in with a few businessmen that have done well for themselves and knowing a couple of them who sponsor a couple guys, they really do not care or sponsor them for the drivers internview skills.

Well then Petey Pee you should take your incredible amount of intellect and teach a class or have a seminar for all the unpolished drivers so you can tell them how smarter you than everyone else.

Not a big fan of some of your topics/postings but I'll agree with most of this post. It suprises me that some on here are all about sprint car racing getting to the next level, which requires sponsorship $$$$$$$. Higher level sprint car racing is not at the "Mom & Pop" sponsorship level anymore, the racers need corporate sponsors with more resources than local sponsors. I hear a lot of racers say its difficult to attract new sponsors, well it doesn't help if you can't represent yourself as something more than an inarticulate hillbilly in Victory Lane. I enjoy seeing passion in Victory Lane as much as anyone but if a driver is going to attract new and bigger sponsors he might want to practice up on speaking skills, aspiring high level drivers have ample time to work on those skills.

Curious who you worked for. I knew someone that retired working for NBC and followed the same leagues during his career.
