What a fan freindly and a class act guy, with the talent to run in the top 10 with the WOO. Lets hope he gets a good ride for the fans to watch in 2008.

A good Ride?. Yes he needs one but, there don't seem to be many out there that are interested in a Guy that is Marketable Fan Friendly & Talented. Driving a team under funded & rushed together last year done him no justice as his results showed. Forget his last years effort, but at least he got a drive & gave it a shot thanks to Larry. Is there another Rush Racing 8 out there? Thats what he needs.. As we know he can wheel a car, he is the best in Australia at present & has been for a while, can run with the best & on his night can beat the so called best. He has shown this on all tracks across the U.S & in Aus. This guy needs a break & deserves a quality ride. Will he get a 2008 WOO ride? the way I see it is, the longer we hear nothing, the chance is more remote for Brooke. Its a shame this talent could be just a driver picking up a drive here & there in 08. Wasted Talent for sure if he is not picked up for a full time WOO Tour drive. Just my opinion & Cheers to all for Xmas.

Yes he is fan friendly and marketable but he has had quality rides and hasn't been able to keep them. Maybe it's not the team he has been driving for. Head to head with Kerry Madsen over the past few year, i'm pretty sure the mad man is well in front.

Brooke hasn't lost a ride. Rush Racing folded due to lack of funds and he walked away from Woodward. Will probably drive for Forbrook if they find the funds.

Aussie you beat me to it ,so I will agree with you 100% he probably could have a better record if he would have had a TEAM behind him. Two years in a row same machanic good luck to anyone who ends up with him.

I must say, in my opinion only that if Brooke had the funding & equipment behind him that others (not only kerry had last season), his Resum'e would be far superiour to theirs as well for the season. As we know the Volcanoe car really was just running on a limited budget & equippment. I actually think now that Brooke should have taken last season of but he is a racer & thats what he does best. His first year with Rush Racing showed he can mix it with the best if he has the equippment at his disposal. Maybe Forrook & Brooke can find some funds & go racing. Good Luck to them as well if it happens.

Hi oz

Yes he is going well Driving back home for the KMS team. He will win the WSS again because of determination, talent, reliability & consistency. This year he will want the AUS Title more than ever as its at TPCR, his old regular stomping ground. He will also want to do his best at the Outlaw Down Under show as well, as he does with every meet he attends. I reckon he is glad to be back in race equipment that gives him a chance of winning at least. But we all know any driver needs a certain amount of luck sometimes. Luck is something that seems to avoid brooke a lot though as I have watched & listened to him over the years. As an ex car owner, I would not hesitate to put this guy in the seat (as I did his Father so be it only a couple of times) if i were still in that position.
Just my Opinion.

Well I didn't put this post up to be scrutinized by anyone OR you (oztaz1)! All I was stating is that "Brooke is a fan friendly and a class act guy with the talent to run in the top 10 with the WOO, Lets hope he gets a good ride for the fans to watch in 2008". SOOOO what the hell do you mean by saying that ("A good ride? Yes he needs one but, there don't seem to to many out there that are interested in a Guy that is Marketable Fan Friendly & Talented" These are your words so why would no one want to sponsor a guy like this as you say??? I've only met up with him a few times after the races and he is a great guy. But you sound like the car owner type with all the knowledge so???

Firstly tastasu, I never meant to make you feel scrutinized. Sorry if I made you feel that way as that was not my intention at all.
I am just posting my opinions. Secondly, what do I mean A good Ride, well one that has decent funding to give a guy what he needs to run top 10 or better night after night. Its just not easy to find this funding as most people know. Brooke can handle the media well & presents himself well to the public, add to this his popularity & i would call him marketable. I don't know why some brand name product within or out of the racing community does not see the opportunity to advertise with him in all forms of media. Actually it could be an investment for any australian company exporting to the U.S. e.g. like the Australian Tourism industry (just a thought there). Why don't some team owners & sponsors seem interested? That is a question I keep asking myself. Hey I want to see him out there as much as anyone else does.
No I don't have all the knowledge or claim to at all. as I said its just my opinion & maybe I should have started a new thread here. Cheers to All.
