Supposedly a sprint car spun out into infield where multiple were hit . Races were canceled.

Very serious incident.

Very unfortunate incident. Morgan County Sheriff's Department has confirmed one fatality - a 65 year old male.

Hate this, as I've been there several times and think it's amazing dirt track, even more so for sprint cars. Hate it even more for Ken Dobson, who seems to be one of the true good guy promoters in this space. Just a really shitty situation.

Very sad deal.  Jacksonville is such a cool place and run by good people.  Prayers for the family and those injured.  Also for the driver.  Just a freak thing that happens once in a blue moon in short track racing.  Very few tracks have a barrier all the way around the inside of the track so this is a possibility.
