Anyone have the scoop on what happened? The series definitely had a few snafu's but this is a surprising move from my POV.

This. When Kevin said about "how" they did it in his release, that just went right in line with so many things I've been told about how they've done things since the beginning. Like I've always said, they're building their own sandbox.

The ways in which HL aquires people and fires people are certainly questionable, even by dirt track racing standards.

You may want to remove your little diddy at the bottom of your post that states "support your local track and "STAY POSITIVE"! STAY NEGATIVE it should say...
Corporate peeps come and go in the real world! Hoseheads keyboard jockeys would rather be like a bunch of whining old women.waaa, waaa,waaa...
Ascot was the greatest of all time..
West Capital wasn't half bad either..

Shining a light on what appears to be cheating in the only sport I care about is considered negative? Buying a series and it's history and then nuking it's history books so you don't have to compete against it's history, besides being petty and childish ... pretty negative in my book.
Pointing this out, isn't. Sorry you missed the obvious.
Thanx,
Bruce

Half the folks whining here are still pissed that GM got rid of Pontiac. Get over it, ASCoC was AAA ball, just a notch above the ASCS. Bitch and moan all you want, but the real competition is in the High Limit Series, even Stevie Wonder can see that.
And this tagline, "support your local track and stay positive" LOLOLOLOL!

A weight rule is a minimum weight not close to or in the ballpark. And when it's the guy who owns the series that was driving the car in this incident it's not a good look. Another thing that's not a good look is firing the tech director aterwards.

In both cases it does. In the latter, it's why we have a rule book. It defines the parameters within which they race. Does a few tenths of a millimeter make a differnece on the wall thickness of the chassis? Ask A-Aron.
Thanx,
Bruce

You all are assuming he was underweight. Does anyone actually have real proof of this and not something based off rumor ? I don't like Brad Sweet, never have I think he has one of the most punchable faces and I absolutely loved it when TK wa wa wa'd his whiny ass out on the track on a red and it was caught on video. Having said that the guys a professional and has won like what 5 WOO championships ? There's no effing way he's going to or needs to run his car underweight and if he did and was caught and then fired the official that caught him Kasey would cut his ass off from the feeding trough in a quick damn hurry because I can tell you Kasey don't roll like that, he has a huge amount of influence as the car owner and would not tolerate it for a minute. You all are assuming he was under weight and then you're assuming this guy getting fired was because of that. All I'm seeing is a whole hell of a lot of speculating and assuming based off of rumors and have yet to see any factual information on this. It's all based off what you think you saw on a crappy Flo broadcast and the rumors you've heard ? People successfully get sued for slander and libel for spreading shit like this on the internet these days so if your gonna spread it you damn sure better be able to back it up with real proof. Also this bullshit doesn't do the sport a damn bit of good so let the alleged injured party pursue a legal remedy if they have a case and leave this kinda crap off the message boards. I swear some of you people that are supposed to be fans are Sprint Car Racings worst enemies. If I was a Mod on this board threads like this would get deleted and people who posted this crap would get a warning to knock the shit off and if they didn't I'd get the ban hammer out. There is a reason most of the quality posters have quit contributing to this forum and threads like this are a good example of why....
