Anthony Macri got lost and woke up in South Dakota. Lucky for him, he won $5000 for gas money at Husets Speedway for the trip home.

About two minutes ago I was curious why he was doing this trip. Go where you want and have fun but just seemed odd. One more track on his win lost. Good for him.
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

The team's schedule includes the WoO weekend at Knoxville in 2 weeks, then the big money 4 day event at Huset's the following week. 4 races in the same region with HL coming up before that. They must have spent this weekend at Knoxville and Huset's for tuneups.
Signature here.

Thanks Murphy. I was wondering why he wasn't in PA and I never would have found him in SD.

Smart move by the 39M team racing at Knoxville and Husets this weekend. Get some valuable track time and the ability to get a notebook without 60 cars in attendence. Great win for The Concrete Kid.

It sounds like they don't have concrete plans from week to week. By pouring their hearts into the preparation it should set themselves up for a solid foundation of performance, reinforcing the decision.

If he wants the big money he needs to be better than Gravel.

Gravel is the least of his worries. All I've heard on social media the past 4 weeks is how Macri is the hottest driver in the country and when referring to Knoxville as the Sprint Car Capital of the World, the PA fans have been butt-hurt proclaiming Central PA is the true Sprint Car Capital of the World. Then, the hottest driver in the world, from Central PA, comes to Knoxville, and gets his weiner smacked in by a bunch of guys who supposedly can't hold a candle to the PA Posse. All of this is very confusing to me. I'm not really sure what to believe anymore. Lots of fake news on the inter-web.

Relax. I was just adding to the concrete references since gravel is a component.

All I'm saying is, if he wants to cement his legacy at knoxville, he's got more to catch than gravel.

I like when Butt Hurt people compare entire regions of the country to 8 or 10 counties of one state to make their points. Nobody with any sense denies that at least a couple of weeks a year Knoxville is the sprint car capital of the world. Why does anyone think he was there to get some laps on it? Is this the year that the seven guys who finished ahead him Sat. are going to kick the outlaws ass in August?

Funny how the "on the porch" thing always gets thrown at PA drivers only.

It's pretty easy to see why. There are 2 main groups of fans that pound their chests as the greatest sprint car regions in the world. CA, and PA. CA doesn't get the "on the porch" label because they roll to all corners of the country, and kick everyone's ass. PA drivers, with some exceptions, are also-rans at most tracks they visit outside of their home state. I'm from the midwest, so don't really have a dog in this fight, just an observation. Yes, they win. But not at a rate that matches the self-hype from the locals. It seems to make the PA fanbase an easy target for the "porch" comments. JMO

What's with all the talk of butt hurt and weiner smacking dude, you sure you're on the right web site? Not to deny your pride month but I'm pretty sure this is an auto racing web site.

Or just butt hurt fans from other regions that feel the need to say it.
