What, no CW races at Marysville? Does this have anything to do with the late season "rain out" race last year?

MRP was given the opportunity for Civil War dates at the workshop but they chose to pass this year, nothing to do with rain outs, etc last year. Quincy and Ocean will bring some new interest to the campaign though!

Thanks for the reply. I can't believe they gave up the Civil War dates. It does not seem like a smart move to me. Of course I'm looking at this from a fans point of view, not a promoter.
From the smart move department.I'm totally stoked to see the GSC/BCRA shows at Placerville. In my opinion there is nothing better than a sprint/midget doubleheader. Count me in!

It appears as though MRP is going to ASCS rules and looking to allign itself with the new ASCS Northwest, formerly known as NSCS in 07 and NST prior to that. If JPM would see the light and switch to ASCS rules(which most car owners would like them to do), the Civil War series would probably become known in the ASCS circle as ASCS West. Northern California is the last stronghold for Open Headed 360's; and if they were ASCS, it would enable more cars from that area to travel outside NorCal and compete in other parts of the country. An open headed 360 is considered special order at Gaerte.
