Just got this email. I bet this is to help prevent sharing of accounts. I sure hope it does not cause problems.

What's Changing?

To simplify and secure your login process, we're moving away from traditional passwords. Instead, you'll access your account using a verification code sent directly your mobile phone or email. You will enter that code instead of a password. This change will mean that you will no longer need to remember a password or change a password you have forgotten.

What We Need from You

To ensure a smooth transition and easy access, we kindly ask you to update your account information, adding a mobile phone and zip code.

Please make sure to use the email associated with your DIRTVision account. It is important you have access to that email account and the associated mobile phone as you will need it to log in to DIRTVision.

This is actually a change being incorporated on many types of accounts and is pretty easy to skirt when sharing streaming services with another user.
