Never figured out why Brad Sweet is called "the big cat"

I heard it explained on some broadcast and thought "that was dumb". They also suggested that Sweet wasn't too impressed with it. I imagine the drivers with enough clout can get things changed. When's the last time you heard the name "Tequila Schatz" used?

Whoever came up with it those Sasquatch type characters and the North Pole Nightmare nickname is a merch sellers dream. I've got a son-in-law with a rock band and my daughter runs a merch table. Racing and playing in a band have a lot of similarities and merch is an important piece of the pie. I think Bill has a good thing going with one of the most unique nicknames there is in the sport.

Every time he opens his mouth, pure stupidity comes out. I still want to know who he has incriminating photos of because blackmail is the only thing that makes any sense at this point as far as why anyone would want to hire someone that the overwhelming majority of people can't stand.

Not a late model fan but I heard it while watching either a Lucas oil LM race or a WoO race. I know because I immediately thought of Bill Balog! Maybe the announcer made a mistake, but I definitely heard a drive called that while the announcer was giving the A main line up!

There's a mod driver from NY that has that nickname I'm guessing because his first name is Rocky.

Yes, heard it on a big block modified stream. I think the LM driver named Shirley has been called that to. I immediately asked my buddy if he heard what I did, he said yes and that he had heard it before!
