OK, my memory ain't what it once was. But I seem to remember there was a time in PA. when sprint car teams could race Friday, Saturday, Sunday afternoon and Sunday night most every week. Am I correct? If so, when was this? This is a simple question, no ugly motives behind it not looking to bash the posse or anything. Just wondering if my memory is right.

I'll do my best so Fridays have always been the Grove although I believe Hagerstown and way back Bedford tried, Saturdays used be Port Lincoln and Selinsgrove for a very long time. Sundays we're mostly Susquehanna/Baps and Hagerstown also when Jack Gunn was involved there and Selinsgrove one year I believe. As far as Sunday twice only on holidays with Port and Selinsgrove. That's my best recollection.

Approximately how many times a year did the 410's run at Silver Spring Speedway? IIRC, this track was part of PA Speedweek. It has to be about twenty years or so since the track was closed.

Just the Speedweek show track closed after the 2005 season.

Actually once the season gets going they will still have Friday, Sat. & and with Baps , Selisgroe & and an occasional race elsewhere a lot of Sundays.

What night did Penn National run back in their days of running 410s?

Selinsgrove ran Sunday nights for 3 years, 98-00. I think they also ran Friday nights for a season back in the late 70's.

Penn National only ran 410s a few times as special events. They did run modifieds on Sunday nights and got solid attendance. It was a great track, too bad the casino shut them down.
