Knoxville: tenderloins and spicy chicken bites are solid
Eldora: spicy cheese balls
Beaver Dam: had Taco Bell tacos when I went. Actually pretty good.
Angel Park: had brats there that were solid
Cedar Lake: dad raves about their cheese curds to this day
West Liberty: known for the best tenderloins at any racetrack
Columbus Junction: excellent walking tacos
Lee County: funnel cake fries... makes you question why all funnel cakes are made this way.
This is my list of memorable foods at tracks. I'm sure there are more Im missing but most other places are just okay usually. Price? Just like anything else. Going up and getting worse. I also find as things go up quality goes down. Wild to pay more for less but such is the current direction. We used to be a culture where we catered to the customer and now the customer just needs to be thankful there is an option. This goes for more than just food unfortunately.

Tell dad that next time he's at Cedar Lake he should try the green cheese burrito. I always get burger and fries or cheese curds but my son and a lot of other people swear by the burritos. A lot of people from out of town don't know this but there's a couple good bars nearby. When I stayed in the camper sometimes I'd go eat at the one that's east of the track by where Old Mill (road to the pits from CC) intersects with CC. I can't recall the name but that's one. The other is on C just past the intersection of CC, think it was the Outpost last time I looked. They're legendary with the local racers.

Will do!! Hopefully one of us or both of us find time to head that way this summer. It is just always hard to get time, weather, and a race to line up just perfectly.

I understand, my son and I were attending races but he's not able to very often now. Anyways, people say the burritos are good but I'm not a burrito guy and never tried them. The cheese curds are the best in Wisconsin.

Selinsgrove Speedway has the best racetrack pizza hands down.

It's good for frozen pizza, but the food stand behind the grandstands at Port Royal has real (non-frozen crust) pizzeria type pizza that is far better. I miss Little Caesers at the Grove.
