If it doesn't give me the shits the next day I'm happy. I don't go to races for the food. When I had my camper sometimes I'd pull that out with firewood and a grill.

The burgers at Volusia, East Bay and Golden Isles were better than the one at Burger fi.

Knoxville: tenderloins and spicy chicken bites are solid
Eldora: spicy cheese balls
Beaver Dam: had Taco Bell tacos when I went. Actually pretty good.
Angel Park: had brats there that were solid
Cedar Lake: dad raves about their cheese curds to this day
West Liberty: known for the best tenderloins at any racetrack
Columbus Junction: excellent walking tacos
Lee County: funnel cake fries... makes you question why all funnel cakes are made this way.
This is my list of memorable foods at tracks. I'm sure there are more Im missing but most other places are just okay usually. Price? Just like anything else. Going up and getting worse. I also find as things go up quality goes down. Wild to pay more for less but such is the current direction. We used to be a culture where we catered to the customer and now the customer just needs to be thankful there is an option. This goes for more than just food unfortunately.

Fair weeks are cheating but that is some of the best times to attend races. If I can include that Davis Co fair in Bloomfield Ia always has local pie and ice cream under the grandstands during the fair races. Simply amazing and surprisingly cheap.

The grilled tenderloins that I had at Independence, IA were much better than those that I had at West Liberty.

As long as it's edible, I'm good with whatever is offered. Pizza, chicken, soft pretzels. I don't eat much at the track.

Knoxville food is good but $6.50 for a cheeseburger seems a little high. Prices have really gone up since checkered flag consessions took over.

Any track that the Tlton Hilton is in the camping area. No need for race track food.

I always have my camper with me at ALL races I go to, so I haven't eaten at a track in many many years. I DID have a steak sammich at 141 tho, not bad. Pete, there is no "N" in Wilmot, just saying

The carmel corn at Jackson Speedway used to be the best. They used to make it right in front of you. We couldn't go home to mom unless we brought 2 bags back for her.

Anything at Eldora. But like everything else it's gotten more expensive. I used to say Eldora could open their concession in the off season and do a good business
