i'm completely disoriented headed into the icebreaker this weekend so i'm hoping others can help me out. correct me if i'm wrong...dewease is in the #12, logan wagner is in the #69 (both with limited schedules), and macri is back in the #39m. any other major changes i should know about?
any thoughts on who's going to take charge this year? the door would seem to be open for dd to stop whining about track surfaces, ticket prices, and just about everything else to make a serious run at rahmer. he probably won't run enough races at lincoln to compete for the track title but can at least make him nervous every time he shows up. port royal seems pretty wide open. i'm curious to see how the weekly races hold up with the new interest in these touring series.

There are more changes to Central Pa in 2024 than I can remember in a long time. Here are some:
Aaron Bollinger moves to the Travis Esh #5E
Kyle Reinhart back in his own #91
Cameron Smith moves from The Trone #39 to The Lefever #75
John Trone hires New Zealand driver Callum Williamson
Kody Hartlaub moving up from the 358's to 410's in his own car
Mark Smith running the Ron Rutherford #19
Dylan Norris moves from the shuttered Gobrecht #44 to own his family #17
Kirk Dewease hired as the new Crew Chief for Matt Campbell team for 2024
Tony Jackson's #88 team is moving up to 410's from the Super Sportman division.

Macri back in the family car, when he is in central pa, will be the car to beat in 24. Central pa payouts being what they are I really wonder how much traveling guys will do.

With Macri and Borden doing more traveling this year the top three cars at Port will be Dietz in the Zemco car along with Wagner and Cisney. At Lincoln the favorite is lil Freddie but I believe Troy Wagaman will be very tough in the Heffner 27.

Yeah, like little prince Macri is setting the world on fire since being back in Daddy's car. I do enjoy reading your predictions and philosophy.

He'll likely dominate Port, I could see him going back to 2022 form, but we'll see. I also wonder why so many guys are so willing to leave PA, when the money is so good locally,

Beezr, you obviously don't live in central pa. If you do, then you must have a dislike for the 39. Macri is one of the best in pa. Do I like him personally, not a chance, but as a racer that kid has a lot of money behind that operation and he takes chances that others already no there not going to race that way. Lil Fred will be fast at WG and Macri will need to be smoother. At port royal, IF he stays close to home, he will be there racing hard every week.

That deal fell apart this week. The 69K is down to two Rider engines and have ordered a new Newman built engine that will not be ready until Pa Speedweeks...... so Don Kreitz can not committ to Henderson this season. Logan Wagner will run approcimately 40 races in the 69K. Daryn Pittman will run the 69K in all six Outlaw races at Williams Grove, plus the June WoO weekend at Knoxville, and the Knoxville Nationals.

Thanks for the update. The 69k at Knoxville is comical.

Someone needs to dig the burr outta Don krietz's ass. LD wasn't showing the best he had last year, but you know what, maybe some of that can be on the crew also. From what many of us described the 69k as the superman team. LD didn't forget how to drive, but he also needs a good car under him to race up front. I have great doubt that Wagner can do anything close to what that team accomplished beforehand. The engines are not the reason that deal fell through, the talent on that team could freshen up a motor in there sleep.

Logan was to run Port Royal only then Henderson everywhere else. Take all 6 of Pittmans races plus the non Port Royal races that Logan is now running and add it up. Seems like Justin got the shaft here big time. Damn shame. He's a good dude and a very capable driver.

If you look at DD's schedule he is scheduled to run more races at Lincoln this year then Port. He will be at Ports big races but the weekly schedule, when hes not traveling ,seems to be more Lincoln.

Update - Kirk Dewease is now wrenching for Kyle Moody. They looked real good at Lincoln on Sunday. He appeared to have the fastest car in traffic. Then he got passed on a restart and finished second. Kyle lets Kirk do whatever he wants to the car and the driver seems quite happy so far.
We are looking forward to seeing Tony Jackson drive a 410. He has done it all in the Super Sportsman division. He has swept a Super Sportsman winged/wingless night in 2022. Then he won the 100 lap race last summer. It seems like the perfect time for him to go play in the big leagues.

Question for everyone does anyone know what Jim Shuttleworth is doing this year. I did see he is no longer with the 23 team and his son Chris is the crew chief now.

They have one Rider engine right now. The second one they thought they were going to have is damaged too much to rebuild. I was with Donald at the shop this past weekend, he's ready to get the 69K on the track, they'll be fine.

I did see where Kassidy's racing is on hold for now is that because of the engine situation?

Thanks Butcher. I’m looking forward to seeing Logan drive it at Port Royal again. Last season he said the 69K was the fastest car he had ever driven there - or something like that. And he has won 4 titles.
