I know it's easy at this point to compare WoO vs. H-L races so far this season. The adults among us will have their own opinions about which was better. The dellusional among us will just make stuff up.
For either series, and for sprint car racing in general, I think the great equalizer is track size. A longer track takes a fast driver. A short track takes a good driver.

Imo of course but track conditions (oh boy) also figure whether it's dry slick or heavy, smooth or rough but it's the great drivers that can excel on anything like the King always did ,I never really heard anything about a weakness with him to what kind of track he was on.

A very prominent PA car owner once told me " Any driver can win at the Grove if they start up front, but I look at the guys who can go through traffic and win at Lincon, they are the better drivers".

It depends on the track. A one laned Williams Grove, picking 1 in the dash draw is like drawing a winning lottery ticket. But Knoxville clearly rewards the best drivers because you can't hide if you're a bit off.

I would say a short track takes a more aggressive driver but I've always been of the opinion that speed matters to some extent. Track conditions are just as much an equilizer as track size as well.
