J-Mac makes it 17 confirmed High Rollers for this year, joining previously announced Rico Abreu (Abreu No. 24), Jacob Allen (Shark Racing No. 1A), Spencer Bayston (CJB Motorsports No. 5), Tyler Courtney (Clauson-Marshall Racing No. 7BC), Brenham Crouch (Crouch No. 1), Corey Day (Jason Meyers Racing No. 14), Cory Eliason (Ridge & Sons Racing No. 8), Kasey Kahne (Kahne No. 9), Brent Marks (Murray-Marks No. 19), Conner Morrell (Marc Dailey Racing No. 2M), Justin Peck (Buch Motorsports No. 13), Parker Price-Miller (PPM No. 9P), Brad Sweet (Kasey Kahne Racing No. 49), Tanner Thorson (Rod Gross Motorsports No. 88), Chris Windom (Vermeer Motorsports No. 55), and Zeb Wise (Rudeen Racing No. 26

Glad I'll get to watch them from the comfort of my home, or a parking lot at the track they are visiting.

So is J-Mac leaving Australia earlier than normal? In the past, I thought he did not arrive until the Outlaw season was underway. Is he a HL full-timer, or someone who's going to run HL races when he gets to the US?

Correct me if I'm wrong (as if I have to ask here) but this list seems huge compared to the past few years of pre-season commitments to the Ascoc. Historically did the Ascoc have a big list to start and 4 in October?

The 2022 All Stars announced 14 full timers at the start of that season and I think maybe 8 finished. This group is much stronger than that one and most of the teams should be equipped to run the year but its doubtful all of them will.

I can't beloeve this needs repeated again but here we are. The All Stars were a regional series with regional drivers & regional teams for drivers on the way up, some who didn't want to or couldn't travel nationally, and some on the back end of their careers.
As Kevin Swindell said recently on Jeremy Elliotts' show, "we needed a Busch Series and a Cup series. Instead we have a Cup Series and a Cup series."

Thank you. If only eight out of 14 survive the season regionally I doubt if any more than eight out of 17 will survive nationally. In my mind the only logical reason to join the high limit instead of the world of outlaws would be to ensure you do not compete against 5 or 6 of the 8-9 best in the sports. The HL still have 4 guys who will take the majority of the podiums so 92 out of 100 guys are basically racing for fourth.

True, but with that logic, it means that last year, 92 of those guys were basically racing for 9th.
