I know its not sprintcar racing, but, I thought it was interesting to see the announcement that Ray Evernham is involved in a rebirth of the IROC series, with the hopes to stage a race in 2024. Ray was involved the creation or SRX with Tony Stewart with the idea that it would be a modern version of IROC. Looks like we have a NASCAR-land version of the WoO vs.HL situation brewing. Maybe its for the overall betterment of all-star stock car racing, huh?

Maybe towards the end. Ray is a little young for the IROC beginnings. IROC started in the early to mid 70s I think

On a side note, that Stapleton42 Youtube channel is outstanding if you are even remotely interested in 70's, 80's & 90's Nascar history. He is just a young guy, but knows his stuff.

Well this is interesting. SRX has suspended racing operations for 2024.

I tried to watch a couple of his videos, but the ads were way too frequent, an hour long video had ads every 3-4 minutes, which is beyond my level of tolerance, I'm not anti-advertisement, but the ads there were overkill level.
