I found your posts to be extremely insightful. I learned a lot about how shit actually works. I know what I don't know but some people just don't. I was born with the gift of a good bullshit detector so usually even if it's something I'm unfamiliar with, I can tell if someone is a bullshitter and this guy has pegged the meter more than once. Then to make it worse, bragging about credentials of him and his son with a smug ass attitude. I can't believe he's still arguing with you after those truth bombs you sent but I guess some people think so highly of themselves that they'll still try to bullshit their way through even after they've been totally exposed. They just don't know when to quit.

Well thank you, I'm glad somebody enjoyed it even if the person I was replying to didn't lol. I think I was born with a pretty good bullshit detector too and even before this thread, I was getting the impression he was full of shit too. Normally I don't engage with people like that as they're going to have the reaction much like this guy did. In the end he doesn't know what he's talking about but he's going to believe he does, so we get no where. But there could be other people reading this which is why I chose to argue with him. Streaming live TV can be a very frustrating experience. I see time and time again people thinking they're going to save a buck end up throwing lots of money away. They see they can "save" a substantial amount of money on their monthly bill, then they buy the cheapest internet package they can buy, a $30 router, a few $20 Rokus and a few extenders from Wal Mart. Then they have problems and it doesn't work real well and they get frustrated and hate streaming TV. When the real problem is they bought junk because of some bad advice and wasted all that money. Streaming TV can be a great experience but you've gotta understand that streaming TV takes more powerful equipment than what's needed to browse facebook on your laptop. I'm trying to eliminate that bad advice for any other readers. He will do what he's going to do and if he's satisfied with the results that's all that matters.
To everyone else, I sincerely apologize. I do realize this is a sprint car racing message board and not a computer networking message board. As I was writing this My point was not to bore you it was to not take advice from this guy about computer networking. I'm not even saying you should take advice from me. But listening to this guy could cost you lots of money.

Even though dirt vision and flo do the same thing , I see a huge difference in the two companies. Dirt vision seems to be an add-on to an existing race series to enhance the product that the world racing group provides. Yes it make some income as any add-on should and I understand it's more expensive. My experience is better with dirt vision. I can listen live and I can watch the highlights usually in less than an hour after the race is over. With Flo I have not found a place to listen live and the highlights are usually pay-per-view also until several days after and usually not for every race in the 410 world. To me one like it's like an add-on to enhance an existing product the other is a standalone product.

Having internet problems. Live in the "sticks" in Indiana. Does anyone stream Flo or DV on HughesNet? Have any problems? Do you run into any data problems?
