While at this moment in time I favor the Outlaws, I'm glad to see guys like this take a step up. I hope that the High Limit lineup lasts until at least the Pacific Northwest swing becuase I'd like to see some of these guys run out here who don't normally do so.

I like to see them all as well. I have alot of early HL races that I am attending living in MO. As a latemodel fan, I joined this message board because I was hoping to bring some perspective to the sprint car world what it was it is like to have 2 national tours. If HL gets 15 drivers signed up for example, they may only end with 10 to 12. I would expect the west coast trip to probably be the deciding factor who stays to the end or not. I am suspect of 3 or 4 of the drivers that have signed up already. This happens with the latemodels all the time so I am not going to be surprised by it. Just realistic and I will not think it is indicative of the series.

I agree with what you're saying about not everyone being able to run the whole season, even if that was their plan at the start. Wouldn't you think the WoO sprint cars go through the same thing every year?

Absolutely.I think it was the downfall of the Allstars. Last year was terrible. I understand people were upset with its demise, but it was dying anyway.

I don't really think the All AStars were dying. From a PA fans perspective I've watched the All Stars growth with their regional series for many years. They kind of went from the "One Stars" to a group of competitive teams traveling in the region, up and coming young talent with lots of big time teams and drivers participating in more high profile races with larger purses. Where was it dying?

Look at the last 3 years. There was only decline. Only TWO drivers raced every race last year (Morrell and Windom). Courtney and Zeb were hurt for some of the races. Vermeer, Mccandless, Grove ,and Seeling used at least THREE drivers to complete the season. Three years ago I would have agreed with you. Even 2022 was a good group. That was a very patched and pieced together series last year. That is not good. Central PA sprint car racing was more lucrative. Central PA didn't need the Allstars and now a series like FAST can establish themselves in Ohio and a provide a good regional series there.

I don't have crystal ball like you do. But I don't need one to tell you the Allstars are not dying, they are dead. I also know by looking at ANY touring series over the past several years ragardless of genre will have drivers say they are going to do this and teams are going to that, but in the end do not do or finish what they set out to do. I responded to a gentleman the other day on here who lives on the West coast. I told him if there 15 drivers signed up HL by the time they head West, I would only expect there to be 10 to 12 make the trip. I hope I am wrong on that, but recent past history of ALL the touring series would suggest otherwise.
I agree the Allstars expanded purse structure, sponsorship, and regions. However, where they did not expand was driver and team sustainability. This is not a recipe for success. They were no longer going to pull teams from Central PA or the midwest due to the money those areas started putting into their local tracks and regional series. For example look what Knoxville, Husets and Central PA tracks started paying. The upstart POWRI 410 series is seeing growth in the midwest and now the Maverick series. Sometimes series have to be sold or rebranded to survive. The Allstars themselves had to do this a couple times. A perfect example is the MARS latemodel seris. It has been sold and rebranded twice within the last 10 years and now is finding some success and growth again. I think is a chance for FAST to grow into a great series and fill the void left by the Allstars in the Ohio area.
Tony is smart guy. He knew with the creation of HL, he was probably going to be losing Clauson-Marhall(maybe even to WoO), Vermeer, and Rudeen anyway. That was not a good prospect for his series the Allstars.
Now I don't have a crystal ball, but I believe the World of Outlaws are here and will continue to be here. But I also believe High Limit is here and is going to be here to stay. And the Allstars are dead.
