Well, another big name just signed with High Limit. Their roster looks pretty interesting. I'm not sure that he'll challenge Rico and Sweet for the championship, but it's possible and he should be a top 5 runner for sure.

Considering he's racked up 45+ wins over the last three years I'd say chances are pretty good he'll be in the hunt...
The older I get the faster I was

You're probably right. I just wasn't sure since he hasn't been chasing championships and I don't know about his consistency. Being from the West Coast I don't see him race so I don't feel strongly about it or have any special knowledge.

Marks was a big pick up. I figured he would continue his true outlaw schedule but wonder if there are some $$$ at work here. I honestly think he could be a top 3 in HL points contender. Happy to see him chase some big shows! Gonna be fun.

If I had a team as competitive as Brent Marks this is what I would consider doing: cherry pick a true outlaw season in 2024. Maximize my income potential and minimize my expenses. Not seek a top 5 HL year end and see if the HL is looking as legit and sweet as it is being presented today, 4 months before the season. Then in 2025 if the HL still exists and promises are written in blood, then commit to the series that doesn't require commitment , seek the lesser goal of top ten for a charter. With his ability I wouldn't commit this soon. A similar end goal could've achieved with less commitment and expense. Of course he could miss the chance for a charter in 2025. I admit I don't know all the accounting involved. Just seems logical to me.

I don't see Marks staying on the road long term. He makes to much money doing what he's doing. Unless he is running consistent top 5 I just don't see it happening.

I'm pretty sure he was the biggest $$$ winner in sprint cars 2 years ago...
