The Bullring is having a heck of a race, finale today at 3:30PST. 100 lap winged sprint feature $50k/win, 40 lap midget feature $10k/win and $5k/win Winged Supers running 40 laps.
Since they rebuilt, resized and relocated the Bullring a while back it's really become a pretty awesome D-shaped track - and for asphalt there's really good passing and action. 11.6 was fast time and definitely not follow-the-leader.
PPV is at https://speedsport.tv/videos/30641
Appears to be about 42 sprints, 18 supers and 22 midgets racing (features only). That's got to be one of the largest groups of winged asphalt sprints assembled in quite some time.

Great racing so far. 3 different leaders in midget feature first half of race, then 10th place starter Kody Swanson caught the leader with 3 to go and went on to win $10,000.
Sprint B up next, 20 cars, 20 laps. Then the SuperMods and the 100-lap winged sprint finale.

Agreed.... good racing. It always takes me a while to get calibrated to watching wings sprint cars on asphalt. In theory I'm against it, but after you watch it for a few laps and you get over the fact they're not sliding through the corners, it's sprint car racing. They're racing hard for position it's tight racing and they're going very fast. If you ask me to choose between going to a dirt sprint car race and a pavement sprint car race, I'm picking dirt nine times out of 10… But looking at it with an open mind the racing I'm watching tonight isn't bad!

I thought maybe Davey Hamilton Jr would force his way to the front and take that race hostage but I see he only finished 3rd.
