Anyone done the math and figure how many points/positons ahead of Sweet does Gravel have to be in each of the last races  to secure the WoO title if no DNFs by either.  Not an exact science I suppose.  Do all the remaining races have the same points awarded per finishing position.

Lawlessness + liberalism = HELL - NYC, Detroit, Chicago,
Seattle, LA Who the H runs those cities.

Gravel is behind by 50 points. If he were to sweep the 3 races at Charlotte, Sweet would need to finish 8th or better in each. If Gravel doesn't win, Sweet can finish 8 spots behind Gravel in each race and still win the title. It's likely Sweet will need to have some bad luck but still very possible for Gravel to sneak by.

I recall a discussion on Sweets 2 minutes in the work area being longer than 120 seconds. He had the same grace last night. They call an open red on the second lap of the race near the end of his two minutes and ends up with much more time. Why would they call an open red after two laps? And after 50 years of operation you'd think the track would have more than one tow truck.

Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

Obviously it's in the their best interest to help the guy creating a rival series to compete with them to win their championship so he can use the money and prestige to help build the competing series.

Even by Hosehead standards this conspiracy theory is ridiculous

The track only had one tow truck which caused a huge delay. Also there was alot of fluid on the track that took time to clean up.   They called an open red later in the race which happened to benefit macedo so it's not a sweet conspiracy as some tinfoil heads like to claim

Championship battle has been over for a month. Unless sweet dnf'd several races there was no way gravel was going to catch him.

You mean, like if Sweet had a big crash and couldn't get the car repaired in time to restart?

You guys are funny. It's 2 minutes MINIMUM gauranteed time in the work area. Not a 2 minute minimum.

I know it's just a typo but you contractdict yourself. Actually there is no minimum time cuz nobody forces you to stay an allocated time. You are not obligated to stay 5 seconds if you don't want to.  However if you are the last guy in then it is a 2 minute maximum because timer starts when the last car is in. delaying the rescue of a local show filler helps everyone already rescued but not him. Perhaps minimum or maximum are not even required in the text. You are guaranteed two minutes. Period
