I don't know all specifics. However, it sounds like there is a lot of people at each others throats, the track prep guy was fired, and they are all but eliminating fans in the pits. Also, pits are to be empty 1 hour after the race. I'm not 100% sure what all took place. It's upsetting because Wilmot seems to be a track that has a great draw for cars. It's one of the few tracks in the entire midwest pulling that kind of numbers for sprint cars every single weekend. I know the crowd has been a different story, but in this day and age of club sports, etc, most places do have issues getting families to their events on Saturday night. I hope they get it squared away soon. I've been there for an All-Star show, and multiple WoO shows. The place is busting at the seams with fans.

Alleged threats were made towards multiple people, threats that the Sheriff took seroiusly. Thus, certain restrictions were put in place. Some of those restrictions were eased as the night went on. Fans were allowed in the pits afterwards but for an hour only. They just wanted to clear the grounds in case one of the threats was carried out. Crowd was small as I am sure they read Facebook posts. Over all, the evening went without a hitch, new track prep crew reworked some of the track before the races and from what I understand, according to a few drivers, it was not necessary. This made the evening run a little long and it prevented the Bandits from running their feature. There were a lot of wholesale changes made in personel, and I believe that they did a good job considering the circumstances. It will only get better from here
