Not sure if this was just recently but what was the dust up between double D and Lil Freddie at the Grove? Is Dietrich becoming the Robert Ballou of PA?

Becoming? He's been like that for years.

I am not a big PA fan, but it sure seems like Freddie is on the short end of the deal when it comes to trashing cars. Seems like they both like to blame the other when it comes to "racing deals".

You couldn't be more right. It was an embarrassing moment for our sport. Is Freddie innocent? No. But neither is Brent Marks, Justin Peck, Devon Borden, Anthony Macri, Lance Dewease, Logan Wagner......you get the point. Danny sure as hell isn't either. Ask Brian Montieth about that. The fact is, these guys are all going hard and inevitably will make mistakes sometimes and in the heat of the moment, do or say things they regret. But this thing between Danny & Freddie is long past the point of being ridiculous. Danny pulled a close slider and Freddie got into him a bit. Honestly, that looked 100% like a racing deal to me. Then Danny flat out targeted Freddie and caused a very hard and costly accident that tore up several guys who had no part in any of it. Then Danny gets in victory lane and him and his whole crew behave like WWE trailer trash. Danny didn't even apologize for the guys who got caught up in the mess. They both need to knock their shit off before someone ends up getting killed over it. I don't remember now who the driver was who took evasive action but Freddie was VERY close to getting hit on the open side of the cockpit while upside down. That type of hit stands a high chance of serious or fatal injury. The 48 team all celebrated like they won Knoxville. Absolutely disgusting display from them. Like I said, I can totally understand the heat of the moment. It's happened to everyone. But to then go to victory lane and act like they did? Absolute trash. Whether you are a Danny fan or Freddie fan, what happened wasn't anything to be proud of. I happen to like watching them both. They're both very talented and always moving forward. I don't want to be there when one of them takes this childish shit too far and one of them or even worse, someone else who gets caught in the middle of their mess ends up going home in a pine box because their bush league asses used a car as a weapon at 130 mph.

Take both of them to a carnival that has those old bumper cars. Let the crews in on it also. A lot of money in both teams but Neither of them could survive outside of pa.

I coundn't have said it much better.  This goes back further than Freddie.  DD never like old man Fred.  I'm not a huge DD fan , never dislike him but the last couiple of years his mouth and driving actions against Freddie has gone to far.  Yes someone is going to get hurt very badly if this continues.  DD usually has pretty much been beatin by the Rahmers and he really cant stand that.  A few weeks ago, Freddie beat him a Lincoln and raced him very cleanly.  Had the shoe been on the other foot, DD would not have raced Freddie that way.

The incident was from the regularly scheduled feature at Williams Grove on Friday night. There is video on FB of the incident.

What really poured gas on the incident was Dietrich's Victory Lane interview. Dietrich was being booed in Victory Lane and said, "I guess they don't like people driving like their guy. Well, eff 'em."

Bruce Ellis asked Dietrich specifically about the incident and he said "I don't give a shit."

you mustve not seen the massive wreck Freddie caused the last time the 410s raced, I hope you were this upset when Fred just about killed Lucas Wolfe by running him into the pit exit going into 1.

What happened last week or 17 years ago isn't relevant to this conversation one bit. But if you wanna go there, I'm old enough to remember Danny damn near killing Montieth after both went to the rear on a restart and he ran him into the turn 3 opening at Lincoln. Then he got on Twitter and laughed it off as "trying to make something happen for the fans". Regardless, I'm not a fan boy for either driver. I enjoy watching both of them. This whole thing between them has been just as much one as it has been the other and anyone who isn't biased can see it plain as day. But the 2 most serious incidents were caused by Danny retaliating against Freddie and then both times, Danny bragged about it on the mic like an immature brat. The one last year, was the one where Fred Sr. ran up to Danny's car and was pulling on him while he was still strapped in which was every bit as stupid and immature as Danny bragging. They're both culpable and its gonna end up going too far unless both sides grow the hell up and knock it off. I'm usually against this type of thing, but maybe the tracks need to step in and start sitting some people. All the local tracks had their little meeting with those 2 after last years debacle. Now that appears to have just been empty threats. Either way, it did no good because it's still going on so maybe they need to do something else.

I think we can all agree that the real travesty here is the #8 font on the top wing of the Eichelberger car is way too small and completely out of proportion. How they continue to get that wrong is beond me and makes it hard to even root for that team.

Get the graphics right, it's not that hard.

Maybe it's because you never come here to talk about racing. Your immaturity and name calling can't be very endearing to the mods. Maybe you should stick to Facebook.

I know, I know, you'll come back at me with insults and tough guy talk and prove my point. Whatever.

I'll definitely 2nd this. That car would have a beautiful classic look if they'd just put a proper sized number on the wing. Eichelberger has had some really good looking rides over the years while pretty much sticking to his classic look......just fix the number

Danny feels it's my racetrack to and refuses to give anyone racing room. He can be fast in central pa but get him outside state lines and he's a field filler. When the all stars or outlaws come to town he won't race them the same way. When they get the car right and he runs up front he blocks just as much as Freddie if not more. Hopefully the stupidity they both show at times won't cause a big one that has to get a driver a ride in the ambulance. I've sat and watched Freddie chop people going into the corners multiple times, I've also seen DD take someone to the wall.

During the summer of Covid DD traveled to central US and raced with the allstars.  If I remember he we more than field filler then.  It seems to me that most of you don't like a particular racer your inner key board comando comes out and you will say anything to trash talk them Brian Brown, DD, Little Freddie ect.

He he has some wins during Ohio Speedweek & other Allstar events. I saw him beat the Allstars at Lebanon Valley in upstate NY

Haven't watched the video yet, but their "rivalry" has been getting out of hand for a while...
