Agree 100%. I have been following him closely for the last several years, and have enjoyed seeing his stature in the sport rise. It has been nice having a homegrown Posse team, along with Marks, Dietrich and The 69K team that can be competetive on the National scene. Anthony has become a crowd favorite, especially at Port Royal and The Grove as evidenced by the amount of fans wearing his T shirts in the Grandstands (myself included). The last month has been painful to watch. He looks lost, and his confidence is way down. It will be interesting to see where he lands next. The Concrete Kid belongs in the 39M.

he belongs on the couch if he has a bad attitude. the whole story hasn't been confirmed so it's not fair to jump to that conclusion. there's enough smoke to think there's a fire though.
he probably needs that team more than they need him. aside from making the a at knoxville...he hasn't done much in the 7bc. he was 16th in the b last night at huset's. not good.
central pa sprint car racing needs him in that car too. the season has turned into a disaster. even chad trout's dog died. it's been great if you're a freddie fan since he's been smart enough to stick around and collect all the wins in what amounts to mop up time while all the other stars are out of the area or just struggling.
these things go up and down. there are still big races left to run. hopefully we get a good finish to the season.

It's only been a month but I'm switching from the craziest thing to the dumbest thing I've seen in my 40 years of sprint cars - for both the Kid and the car.

Have not seen much from the super duper drivers that replaced him who going to win everything either. Two guys got into what has been one of the fastest cars in the country and haven't shown us much either. The team has to be burning a lot of money running around the country collecting DNQ's and DNF's and few top tens.

5th vs DNQ at Husets (HL)
6th vs 13th at Kokomo (HL) (Corey Day got the 7BC to 4th, best result without Courtney)
8th vs 12th at Lake Ozark (AS)
5th vs 15th at I70 (AS)
7th vs 6th at Knoxville (AS)
pretty sure the 39m is much happier with their results than the 7BC and the 7BC is THRILLED Courtney is back for the next AS race this week and stop the bleeding in the Owners standings for the AllStars season.

Seem to have forgotten a pretty big one as well as some dnq's and dnf's for the 39m. They have run about fifteen races and you listed the best five. Last night was all qualifying they didn't show what happened at the start of Macri's heat, just mentioned it. Last night they could have given them the green on the front stretch and checkers on the back stretch of the first lap and not much would have changed.

FRC 39m and 7bc got 6th and 7th
Nationals Macri got it in the show, good job.
the 12 All Star races before Courtney's injury were 12 straight top 10s.... 3 of 6 with Macri I believe. The All Stars is the 7BC focus and they took a hit for sure.
39M on the road is doing well at worst with the driver/drivers they have had in it, and better than the 7BC for sure, again 39M happier with their results than 7BC and 7BC thrilled to have Courtney back so they maybe can salvage the All Star Owner Championship.
Would the 39M done better with Macri?? Maybe, but I think they have done really well especially at many tracks they have not been to before.

Politics And stats are things that can be twisted to say what you want them to say. I have brother-in-law who at one time did University research. He said when they were hired to do a study the first question asked was "what do you want this study to show"? Last six races for the 39m with Anthony 3 wins 3seconds and Speed Week title. I have counted 13 races from my memory for the 39m since. I am not sure when that last went 0 for 13. Several of those Allstar races were also at tracks Anthony had never been to before. One I remember pitting for mechanical problem part way through an one that got caught up in some elses wreck an restarted at the rear. We can trade them all day but my point was that people thought Sanders and Dewease were going to win right out of the box with that car and it has not happened.
On another note it sure will be an interesting off season with all these temporary rides. That might say more about who was happy with results than any fan's opinion.

I agree, stats can be manipulated. Yes a good run in PA for the 39M at home, was lethal there for sure as well as a couple good results on the road. My opinion.
The 7BC with Courtney is much better than it has been the last month and underperformed the 39M at most races for sure and there is no doubt they are looking forward to gettin back in the Owner Championship hunt, regardless of any "fan's" opinion.
Offseason is gonna be wild. My opinion.
Good luck to Courtney going forward with the 7BC.
Good luck to the 39M going forward, whoever is driving it.
Good luck to Macri, wherever he lands next.

Sorry for being out of the loop but since Sunshine is going to be back in the 7bc seat where will young Prince Macri go? Me thinks Bernie's 71. 69k? I still believe the father and son Macri team will be back together next year..

Anybody know if Sanders is staying in the 39M for this weekend's Jackson Nationals, or is the 39M road team headed back home to PA?
What about Macri - is he staying in the 71 and running Jackson or is he heading back home too?
Larsonfan's worthless prediction: Macri is back in the 39M for the upcoming big Central PA September races (Tuscarora 50, etc) and the Nat Open the following month.........

1. Macri didnt drive the 7BC last night at Husets.
2. Marci just picked up something like $30K from being in Knocxville for the 360 and 410 Nats

39M and Sanders are at Jackson according to their original schedule.
As for the other two, and per the original post, and in accordance with Larsonfan, and considering his rather non-Concrete Kid performance of late, he should be in back in the 39M for Jackson or Port this weekend, and the upcoming big Central Pa races.
Might not be, probably won't be, but he should. Talk about a fall from grace.......

I have not herd this so it is in no way a prediction, but if nothing else major comes up it won't shock me to see him in a #20 car for some Pa. money shows.

I knew a guy who quit a construction company several times and got fired a couple times. I ran into him and asked where he was working. He said he was back at Johnson Construction again. He said that he and the owner finally figured out that each needed the other to be successful, so they worked out their differences. I see a parallel here.

Watched a usac champ car race, Brady Bacon and I believe the Hoffman 69. One of the sponsors, Macri concrete. The old man has his hand in a lot of things. Whatever there piss in match was about, Anthony has struggled to get comfortable in the seat. Big money shows coming up in Pa I think he's in one of Bernie's 71 machines.

So, what car is Macri gonna drive ?
Don't see Bernie running more than a few races - not the kinda schedule that Nacri's used to running.

I would love to see that team get back together too...
Posse was kind of on a roll & it all went "poof"
No Macri/39 or "Dream Team" 69K makes the good ole Tusky 50 less enticing for me... 4/5 hr. drive
Who knows?
