Randomly I took a screen shot of Bill V's Sprintcarratings.com website right before the 2018 Knoxville Nationals, probably because I wanted to see how much the Nationals results would change the ratings/money won. I never deleted it and just recently found it. I knew money went up and I know this year is a special year but even I was surprised just how much things have changed.

Has to be expensive to run one of those racing operations

Rahmer is having a really good season money wise esp when you consider he , as far as I no, hasn't gone on the road to any big races.

Waiting for Kevin Swindell to chime in on how much more money they need paid per race and how I'm supposed to fund it through the front gate all so he can buy million plus dollar homes to live in...
No I don't think these dollar amounts fund the team. Not even close. Racing is a rich man's game and so sponsors and T Shirt sales ETC help fill those gaps. Most are happy if the team breaks even I'd bet. To me it looks like the winnings are going up at a rate faster than inflation the last year but it'll probably level out and stay relatively consistent with inflation. Seems like good moves to keep the sport healthy but not overbearing on the fans. My .02$

I'm sure it cost a lot of money in 2018 too when they were racing for a lot less.

How did you know I was in turn four last night... haha recouping today. Most of my vacation is used for other things. Hopefully I get smart someday.

To add to those numbers, below is the yearly total earnings. As you can see, there was an increase in 2021. Based on data from previous years, I'd expect about 4.5-5 million more in 2023, to finish at or around 16 million. The 2023 increase is mostly due to (of course) the Eldora Million and the High Bank Nationals at Husets.
410 Wing Yearly Earnings
- 2023 $11,181,115
- 2022 $14,004,538
- 2021 $13,533,518
- 2020 $8,118,666
- 2019 $10,639,806
- 2018 $10,580,642
- 2017 $11,132,641
- 2016 $11,970,199
- 2015 $10,883,281
- Total (since 2015) $102,044,406
