This is just a scientific poll on my own (with reading the idea from sir Jorski). Would you be willing and agree to pay one price for a pit pass if your an ORA member while others who do not wish to join the ORA pay another price? For example only, an ORA member would pay $20 for a pit pass while non ORA members pay $22 for a pit pass.
Please vote and for those of you worried, remember that nobody knows who is voting so your voting is safe and sound.

We already pay $22 for a regular event pit pass even with ORA membership. Would you be the one going to Lanny and telling him everyone voted to pay less to get into the pits? Let us know how that goes.
What would be his motivation to take LESS money from us when the fact is most of us are going to pay whatever the amount is to get in. Let's hope and be happy he doesn't raise the admission. There are tracks that charge quite a bit more than SFS.
This is a rediculous poll.

I will refrain once again for my fire back response as that is your opinion and unlike you, I realize people are intitled too it. This is in response to Jorski's post on the thread below about taking a vote amongst the drivers for their opinion (just his thoughts, not definate).
Once again if you don't like what I have to post, don't read the damn thing. If you think something is stupid in a poll, don't vote. If you don't realize to get traffic and hits to another page of mine, as I will direct people there to participate there, then don't question why I am doing it.

I don't understand how every other track races every week and all drivers compete at the same level. none of this ORA member or ORA non member. I think it is sad. The ORA is a awesome program if you take out the "Well if you do this or if you don't do this" shit. I don't think it would be fair for one man from OKC and being a ORA member to get in cheaper than a non ORA member that just came from out of state/town. I don't want anyone to think I'm not thankful for all that the ORA does. The rules is the only thing that is BULLSHIT! It's strait crap that you have two different groups out there racing(ORA & NON ORA). I bet it really confuses some of the fans that don't know the behind the scenes. Damn you have to join the ORA(for all the good stuff) & buy a radio for your helmet.$$$$
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
I don't blame people not running SFS. Just my opinion.

Bucky,
Get out of the modified mindset and pull your head out. The vote is for the idea that non ORA members would pay a slightly higher price for a pit pass than current ORA members. The non member pit pass would generate more money for Lanny and the ORA and encourge people to join the ORA. Ignore the numbers submitted , they were used as an example.
By the way, you misspelled ridiculous.

Kenny,
What???
I'm going to be running champ sprint at SFS in '08. What is a modified mindset and what does the class you drive have to do with the topic? Or are there only sprint cars in your world?
Thanks for the spellcheck. I might mis-spell one in a thousand words. I know it must make me look aweful.

Dude, seriously. Are your words even making sense in your head? I have no idea what you're going on about. You need to lay off the fuel additives, they're making you null and void!

Not knowing anything about the ORA, and I don't want any BS responses to my questions either. In other words for the people who don't understand, I don't want your complaints about the ORA, blah, blah, blah.
Anyway, I thought the ORA basically was for the drivers. If the drivers had a problem, they took it up with the ORA, and the ORA took it up with Lanny. I guess what I'm saying is the main spokesperson for the drivers to get things done and changed with the promoter. If so, then why would Lanny want to be in on charging ORA members vs. non members different prices? Better yet, why should he even be involved?

Bobcat, your response is fine as I was meaning I didn't want any bashing, pointing fingers, ect., but a civilized conversation on the matter. I want to hear from drivers, ect. about what they believe the ORA is actually supposed to be doing for them. It seems like there has been a lot of talk lately about the ORA. Not being affiliated with either, it appears that a lot of people have forgotten what the association was actually designed for or they just really don't know. It also sound like some people are loosing faith in them, and I personally think that's sad as I've also read about the great things they have done. If they are taking the complaints to Lanny, and Lanny isn't doing anything to help make matters better, then they need to decide the next step to take to get things done. The two doesn't need to be in each others business, but the do have to work together.

Here is my 2 cents worth. I am a car owner and not a driver. One way that the ORA helps the owner is that I just got a good sized point fund check that if it wasn't for the ORA I might have gotten one third of what I got. Also at the last meeting it was discussed of getting a new points system and of course it has to be run past Lanny. Lanny is the promoter, its his money that pays the purse, bills, etc. How can the ORA demand anything when they are not putting up any money. They can suggest things. If I owned a race track and it was my money paying for everything then I wouldn't want anybody telling me what to do, but I would take suggestions. ORA is just like a promoter they are not going to make everybody happy. You don't have to be a member of ORA to race at SFS. I appreciate the ORA and unions

I feel the point system is fine for the heat races and B-feature. But what about the guy who starts 20th and races his ass off to finish 10th but gets the same amount of points as the guy who finished 20th and who made half a lap? I hope I can stay with this but next year we are not running for points and will run when we feel like it

The only reason there was even an Idea of raising the pit pass is to make up for the lacking of money that we will not be getting from the booster club next year . Considering all of them are leaving , A few on here seem to know everything about everything , So make the ORA some money to give nicer things to the drivers at the end of the year . Start by joining the ORA and supporting racing on OKC !!!!!!!!!
winners dont cry when they lose , they go back to the
drawing board and come back for round 2 !

not goin after the other people just statin the facts that the booster club will be no more next year , If you were a member and would have attended the banquet you would know that the booster club ladies made the announcement that they are all stepping down this year and unless new people step foward there will be no money for the drivers next year .
I'm not gonna stay on here and piss in the wind ... All I am saying is everyone should support their local tracks , hate em or love em its where you race . State fair speedway in in most of your backyards People should want to join the organizations that support the tracks .. Not downgrade them if you dont like whats goin on join up or hey even become a board member maybe that is what we need on the board more people that are'nt afraid to speak their mind's !!!
By no means am I trying to badmouth anyone or call anyone out . I just want to better the entire racing experience for everyone from fans to the racers ....
Its a democracy everyone has different opinions but we should all be able to get together and make things better somehow .
