Daryn Pittman to run the Forbrook 5 for a few regular Knoxville weeks, 360 nattys and 410 Nationals. I'd assume the Cappy as well then. Pretty cool news. That car scoots around Knoxville and judging by Shane Stewart's winning first night out in the Indy 71 I'd guess Daryn can still wheel too.

I"m sure this has been discussed but what was Pittman doing outside of racing? I was thinking seat inserts? Regardless great news and happy to see him again at Knoxville.

Pittman is a popular and well qualified. The top 6 WOO are tough to beat.Guy is a very good crew cheif especially at Knoxville. There are more than a couple traveling non WOO card members that are right near the top also. It would be nice to see one of them take home the big money.

Pittman bought Ultra Shield Racing Products in Texas a few years ago. They manufacture racing seats, racing seat belts, and tear offs.

I've thought the same thing, however I like this combo. And don't remember a time when DP was able to get "extra laps" in. Hoping this combo will be tough.

Pittman could definitely make the A if they can find speed. Pittman isn't great at Knoxville but he's led laps at the Nationals and has a podium.

"And then comes the personal attack, which exposes a "person's" extremely low intellectual integrity." .....hmm
A while ago you said this about 3 time WoO Champ Brad Sweet: "I'll take TK to bust Sweet's effeminate little butt come punches being thrown"....
Thats clearly a personal attack. So therefore you have "extremely low intellectual integrity", right?
Dish it out but can't take it????

I believe everyone here, including you can agree that what I wrote (the only thing I wrote) is true: 1) You have never won a WoO race at Knoxville. 2)Pittman has a good personality.
I can only see one guy doing personal attacks, and that's you. See your words above. The fact that this is the 3rd or 4th time you've felt the need to go all he-man and talk about little girls is actually quite creepy.

This could be a Cinderella story. Former WoO champion with the desire to race still burning teams up with The Guy that knows more than anybody how to make a sprint car go fast at Knoxville.

Someone mentioned that Pittman has never won a WoO race at Knoxville. I wonder how many WoO races Kraig Kinser won at Knoxville before he won the Nationals?

Donny isnt without a few faults behind the wheel. I'll never forget his move on Lynton Jeffery at Knoxville. My heart probably skipped a beat watching that wreck as I sit in section C right where it happened and it always left a sour taste in my mouth. But yes by and large Donny is a clean racer though I think after that Nationals he changed his driving style to be a little bit more aggressive.

I think to make the main on Saturday is a respectable and attainable goal. If it leads to something better than that then that's even better. Hoping for success.
