Was it from the Walter/Heimbach incident? I'm actually happy to see some drivers taking a stand and not lifting when guys throw those wreckless abandon sliders in turn 4 at Port. Slide jobs just keep getting dirtier where they just expect the guy on top to lift or be hit. WRONG ANSWER! If you don't have the car cleared, then YOU - the guy throwing the haymaker should lift before contact is made. TJ didn't back off and banged wheels with L. Wagner too when he tried a similar slider in turn 4. Big Props to Walter and Stutts... and to Brent Marks who fed it back to Macri after his dirty slider attempt at Plymouth.

Figured it was either Heimbach, Walter or Buckwalter, Borden. Macri, Marks was not a slide job Macri had the position for over a lap and drifted high to make his car as wide as he could just as anyone else does and barely caught the front tire, hardly trying to take the front end off as Marks said. When you try sqease by on the outside sometimes you are a hero and sometimes you are not. I have always liked Marks but didn't think much of his interveiw. Maybe there were words in the pits but Marks was the one whining on tv about the whole deal. To say he did what he did intentionally was a bad look on tv. He had plenty if time to have cooled off by then.

I saw it exactly as Marks said. Brent wasn't trying to squeeze by. He had battled back to Macri's outside to regain 2nd while Macri was running the bottom. Macri obviously knew he was there and then decided to move up the track into him. I like Macri but that was dirty and blatant. At least Marks actually had him cleared on the payback move. I doubt if Marks would have even mentioned in the interview but it sounded like he got some flack from Macri and crew afterwards. You race others how they race you.

Macri has a habit of blocking, It's going to bite him in the ass one day. That kid has tons of potential but you just can't squeeze someone at the speeds these cars are running today. And yes, he doesn't like it at all when he gets squeezed.
