Reminds me of a race I was at on Sunday night. The only difference is this track is racey....where Sunday was not racey.
Let's go Sprint Car Racing!
Knoxville - Best Track In the USA!
Eldora - 2nd Best Track in the USA!

The cars are crystal clear under caution.

You all knew it was going to be dusty, but the racing was pretty good.

Not really. I do wear eye glasses. When I need anything else often I am not going to be there. Been going for 68 years.

Dust is going to happen, dust clouds that make seeing turns 3 and 4 impossible is unacceptable.

I was there. Been to Wayne County several times throughout the years. Always been dusty, but this was ridiculous. It was the best race I couldnt see. A total dust cloud settled on track. Did not come into stands. Did not need goggles. I was totally clean in stands. Could not see cars, period. Worst dust I've ever seen. Passing was great. Brown and Marks came from rear of field. But, you couldnt see anything. Sorry Wayne County. I wont be back.

The last time I saw dust like that was at a day race in the early 60's. Cedar Lake sometimes gets a bit dusty but nothing close to Wayne County. Other favorite tracks within a few hundred miles are never that way. Jackson, Husets, Knoxville, River Cities, are all great places to see the backstretch from the stands during the A Main.
Seems that Ohio tracks race good but it's a moot point when you can't see it. I would go see a race at Wayne County and would go prepared. Dust is a hassle, especially when I was taking photos, but it's part of the experience. Unfortunately my camera bodies and lenses never looked at it that way.

Racing for 2nd was really good. Brown was impressive after startingbit him a ways back. Sheldon was pretty aggresive and the cushion bit him.

I think Schatz could have taken the money last night. He's a pilot- the drivers needed their instrument rating last night. I can't imagine driving through that.
