Without looking at the list first, what're your guesses?
1) How many drivers have won at least 1 WoO feature?
2)How many drivers have won more than 500 WoO feature wins?
3) How many more than 100?
4) How many more than 10?
5) Will anyone ever surpass Steve Kinser's number of wins?

195 different drivers
1 over 500 wins
4 over 100 wins
60 with more than 10 wins
nobody will eclipse The King
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

I read a note on some driver stat page that WoO wins were changed to include prelims on nights that didn't have split fields (?) That suggests that Steve Kinser may have won races that are still not on the list. I dunno.

Split fields are what the Nationals and Chili Bowl do so all of Steve's wins are counted on the list.

I guess I read it the exact opposite. Preliminary features with split fields- like the Knoxville Nationals- were not counted. Anybody know for sure?

For multi-day shows, I believe they were only counting the final night as an "A" main win. Now every "A" main counts, whether every one ran, only half the field (Knoxville Nats or the Gold Cup formats), or a portion had already qualified (3 day show format, 2nd day "A" .

The split field wins (Knoxville, California Split field races etc...) still do not count. In previous years if there was a 2 day show, complete shows, full field, they didn't count the "prelim" night, even though it was full field just the final night (usually less money on the prelim night). That changed in 2007. Then in 2018 they went back and added the prelim night wins from before 2007, but not split field wins (knoxville, etc...). So with the old way of counting wins the 1st night of the Iron Man 55 wouldn't count towards the overall win total, but those wins were all added which is what took Steve from 500+ to 600+ wins after he retired.
From WoO
"After much discussion and debate, the Series has retroactively credited all previous full-field preliminary wins as official wins."
As such, Kinser, the 20-time series champion and already the all-time wins leader at 577, is now credited with 690 wins.

Here's the article with the additional wins shown on the right column. It added quite a few "1st time winners"

That list is good for retired drivers, but 5 years old, so leaves out plenty of wins for newer guys
You probably realized that...

Yes, I only included it because it shows who and how many A Main wins people gained overnight. Erin Crocker was one of the ones who didn't have an A Main win until they added the prelims from pre 2007. Steve and Sammy gained over 100.
