I'll say California and PA, followed closely by Ohio and Oklahoma maybe??
|
I'd say you're the first to get the two right, but in the wrong order. Ohio is 3rd. I can't find my notes right now, but I think Tennessee was 4th.

PA & Ca.
|
Here's the first correct answer in the right order. Good job! I think given a few years, California will pass Pennsylvania.

What about Danny Smith? Is he from Ohio and won a WoO Feature?
|
The whole 'what state are they from?' Thing gets sticky pretty quickly. The WoO site shows Danny as being from Indiana. Wolfgang won some WoO races when he lived in Pennsylvania. There's Hodnett. The oddest one to me is Dub May, from New Mexico? I thought he was from Pennsylvania?

I dunno man, I don't see a wing on that thing, or a seat for that matter.

Found my notes. PA, CA, OH, IN then TN. OK and MO tied for 6th.

7 states have had 2 winners. Can you name the lesser known winner from ND, SD, IA, IL, MD, NY, and NM?

Dub and brother Van May came to Pa from NM in the early 70s along with Steve Siegel. George Bischoff was also from NM.

ND and New Mexico above right I'd say.
I think SD would be Jack Dover.
Illinois has gotta be Carson Short just a couple years ago? or Blake Feese back a couple decades.
Maryland - probably a "posse" guy.
NY?? Can't think of anyone Friesen is Canadian though, probably a "posse" guy.
The Iowa one is bugging me.

Van and Dub May were from El Paso, TX. At least, that's where they lived before they moved to PA.

ND- Yes. #1 is Schatz SD- No. Henderson hasn't won a WoO race. Wolfgang is #1 IA- Living on the upper plains, #1 is obvious #2 is pretty obscure MD- Yes #1 I'd say is Chris Eash. I thought he was a brother to Doug Esh, but the WoO website has the last names speeled differently? NY-No. I think Friesen is Canadian(?) #1 I'd say is Craig Keel NM-Yes. Johnny Herrera is #1

I think Dover is from Nebraska and has not won a WoO race.
IL- Yes on Feese, I think. Danny Smith is #1
Do you know the #1 guy from Iowa?
