Correct. I believe I read somewhere that Jimmie was possbily going to take a ride with Alex Bowman-----but I'm not sure if that ever materialized..............

Chili Bowl? Big mistake Jimmy. And I'm sure he would never say so, but deep down in his heart, he wishes he had not did the Indy car thing. But, maybe in three or four more years, he might have gotten to be a top 5 or 6 car, but would the owner & sponsors had stuck with him. One of the 3 or 4 or 5 greatest Nascar drivers ever. What a career he had. Rick Hendrick had two cars (Gordon the other) that were unstoppable for a long time. The man can see talent.
