Posted on WoO website. I think they have made a very fair program to Teams. The WoO is a great brand hopefully their olive branch will calm some of the disgruntled teams.

Allowing teams to run 4 non-woo races and still be eligible for $350k to win the championship, I can't imagine many teams turning their back on that.

They are giving up 45 years of their BRAND...the best sprint car drivers in the world run with the WoO....can't put a price on that in my opinion.

It won't cost the WOO, it will cost the fans. How do I know? I just renewed my tickets for one of the bigger two-day shows.

I am in no way a big fan of the Outlaw organization but they had no good reason to be obligated to do this. If I owned it I would not have given this much. If any teams complain now I would tell them goodbye.

They're not obligated, but it potentially keeps good teams from leaving the tour

I think this is a good deal, but my question is, what races are going to count towards the 4? Does running the All-Star race at Volusia count as one (you run both shows, you already burn two)? Sneaking to Knoxville to run a weekly show during a rain out? Running the Capitani Classic? It will be interesting to see how the four race rule is enforced.

I am still trying to figure out how a race on Tuesday night can effect the outlaws on any given weekend? It doesn't that is the bottom line.
Let's go Sprint Car Racing!
Knoxville - Best Track In the USA!
Eldora - 2nd Best Track in the USA!

You probably could have run 4 or more last year if you asked for the right races on the right night in the right way. So maybe the concession to race isnt that big but the uptick in prize money looks good.
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

From years past, any race (ex.ASCOC at Senoia & Volusia) before the 1st points race at Volusia are free to run.
Im wondering the same thing as for the weekend rainouts and teams go to Knoxvolleyball, Port Royal, ASCOC race at scheduled WoO track, ect.. Throw in Capi & T-MAC front row race during Knoxville Nats week. Maybe only the "non-permission" races will counts towards the 4, like the high limit races.

Tony: "That means your at a real racetrack"

Non sanctioned Cappy and TMACs race will be freebies for all I'm sure. The Wed/Thur Eldora may end up being freebies as well, depending on what we hear tonight/soon about High Limit's schedule.

All sounds like a fair deal to me. Also------to bring this up once again--------if you're going to complain about ticket prices, you should never complain about the purse or car counts. Every single good and service increased over the past 45 years-----and quite a bit in the early-80's and over the past 12-18 months. I would highly expect tracks, promoters, and sanctioning bodies to follow suit to keep up with higher costs. I'm not sure where everyone thinks ticket prices can be "frozen" at? $10? $15? Do we want 1980's ticket prices but demand 2023 purses, tow money, and points money? Silly.
Also---before anyone tries to pencil out running a full-time WoO schedule with the purse, tow, and points money--stop yourself. It takes sponsors to put it all together. It's not the WoO job to make sure it's profitable for the drivers. It's their job to find the balance between ticket prices to fill the joint and pay the bills---and payouts to keep the pits full enough to ensure full stands again the next year. That's it. So far, so good.

Well, say their current Champion leaves the tour. The Outlaws are in it for the long run not just a couple of seasons. Their reining King tried to break them once. How did that work? I hate to tell him but their reining Champion ain't no Steve Kinser. Again looking from a business standpoint not as a fan.

I'm not saying I agree with their business tactics. I'm just saying I can understand what they're doing and why they do it. In a nutshell, they don't particularly care that much about their drivers or fans, only the fact that working with those fans and drivers produces their profits. the WoO would probably be run the same if it was owned by Exxon-Mobile.
I find a lot of things about the WoO that I don't like. But, they've worked their way to the top of the sprint car racing industry and they will fight to stay there.
