Are the WOO no longer going to schedule an event at the Las Vegas track.

If they do not do a west coast swing in the spring, I would say no.

So so cold at night in the desert, especially if wind coming from north into the grandstands. I mean COLD but you all have heard or experienced that. 3 times, all more than 20 years ago, only remember one race, Danny Wood led most of the feature only to have a problem of some sort. I was cheering like crazy then disappointment.
Lawlessness + liberalism = HELL - NYC, Detroit, Chicago,
Seattle, LA Who the H runs those cities.

I went in 2016 and probably wouldn't go back unless there was a large car count expected. The track didn't lend itself to good racing and they quit selling beer early (come on this is Las Vegas). It was chilly, as expected, but it was even cold at the nascar race that weekend. As much as taxi fares have went up since 2016, I'd bet it's $65+tip each way from the strip or downtown now. The USAC 360s put on the best race of the night.

I went a couple times back in the late 90's when it was the WoO season finale and it was pretty good. 50+ cars, lots of west coast guys ran back then. It was also the same weekend as the SEMA show which was awesome.

For whatever reason, the Charlotte dirt track is by far the best one. Texas had potential but the buffoon who ran the facility didn't like dirt racing or the WoO and when Nascar was big, he could afford to ignore the potential revenue stream/additional fans a well run dirt facility could bring in. Vegas doesn't seem to want to have a dirt race the same day as the nascar events which makes the thing hard to make money on.

I am not sure how it would hard to make money on. I attended for five years when WoO ran the same week as NASCAR and it was nice to have racing all week/weekend long. The crowds were huge as NASCAR brought in 100,000 race fans. Plus you could simply walk to the track after watching NASCAR qualifying. Only issue in my opinion was having to pay through the nose for NASCAR tickets.

The WoO seemed to get away from scheduling races around a nascar weekend like they used to. I'm not saying there aren't any, but not like there used to be. I'd entertain going to WoO LV again if it was around a SEMA or NHRA weekend. It would be interesting to see how it would work scheduling around the F1 race. That would be too expensive of a weekend for me, but it might put some new WoO fans in the stands.

Never been to the Vegas track but the old races I watched on the tube were okay, I remember tough choppy cowboy up tracks that I enjoy. Nascar fans at sprint cars races kinda suck, like the woo fans that go to a race or two a year. I'm not sure if sprint cars need to reach another level and if they reach the level of nascar I'll watch something different.
