What are everyones thoughts on the game now that it's been out a little while. I like it. Some questions:

- Your pros and cons of the game?

- I know that IRacing was involved in the development. That said, does this in any way compare to the real IRacing experience?

- What "view" do you race form? I like racing from the in-car view.

- Do you use a racing wheel or the stock controller?

- Favorite division to race? Favorite track(s)

I've only seen videos of it, I don't have a current console. I was kinda hoping they would also release it on PC, as it would be more of a arcade/simulation version. Basically for us that don't want to pay a subscription on iRacing on top of buying it. But I guess I need to get a PS5 or something one of these days.

I got it over the weekend and it's pretty awesome. The racing lines are better than the Tony Stewart game. You can run the high side and be fast now. I've mainly played career and am still in the 305s. Career mode seems pretty deep and is so far pretty challenging. Create a car is amazing, just about any way you want to design a car is possible.

The only drawback so far is that there is not full damage. You can wreck your car hard, flip it, and restart fine. I haven't seen a dnf yet. Overall it's the best sprint car game since the ratbag 2002 game. Late models are fun too.

I've played about every dirt racing game under the sun, and this is one of the best oval dirt track racing games made. Iracing has made a great game that you can feel the "grooves".

My set up is on the xbox, I have a midlevel force feedback wheel, which I highly recommend. I've dabbled in 410s, however currently doing the career mode and just finished my 1st season of 305 racing. I have the settings as difficult as they can get, minus the ai. I dropped the ai back to 100%. It was at 105%.

It's worth the buy, but it's even better with a wheel, which you do have to counter steer, and not smash the gas all the way around the track.

I wanted to add that the wheel pushes back when you're in the turns so you can feel the grove. It also vibrates. The regular controller wouldn't allow this except for the vibrating to simulate the cushion.

They hit it out of the park. So much content, 6 divisions, a very cool career mode, 13 real tracks, and the fake tracks are awesome. They don't have a generic feel to them, they actually look and feel like real tracks.

The best part other than the realistic drivability of the cars which all race differently is that they got so many real drivers to participate. It's not just the Outlaws, you have Timms, Cisney, Stutts, and a host of other real drivers. I think I counted 50 drivers in the 410s alone. Same with LMs.

The only con I can think of is that there isn't a pit area to speak of, I think it would be kind of fun to have that level of immersion but a very small quibble.

It's quite fantastic, which is why I acquired it over the weekend. Compared to the Tony Stewart game, the racing lines are superior. Now that you can run the high side quickly.
