Hot dogs & french fries?
A while back I recommended the Philly Cheese Steak sandwitches at Port, & then realized they're only sold during the Fair....
So I had one this past weekend... KILLA!!!

Actually there is sandwich trailer at the pit end of the grandstand that has a really cheese steak sandwich most weeks at Port Royal.

Not money or politics in this case. It is the best of the best are racing with the WOO when they are at the Grove for the Natty Open. Whether or not any of us like it or not.

And yet in another thread when comparing Port Royal to Selinsgrove instead of Williams Grove you said the Tuscarora Fifty should not be sactioned by anybody. So, the question is; Will the race at Selingrove next week be lackluster no matter what happens because they will likely only have two drivers from your list? I guess fans should just look for something else to do.

Selinsgrove doesn't claim nor the fans claim it is the biggest race in PA during the year. There is a HUGE difference. The 50 is just another bigger race in PA. But it is far from being the biggest or the best in PA.
I agree they shouldn't be sanctioned by anyone. Let the cars decide where they want to run. You don't need a sactioning body. However if you want the best of the best you might need to saction some races.
That said NO the 50 shouldn't be sactioned nor the Natty Open at Williamsgrove. But they both are.

The 50 is easily the best event in PA. That's not even debateable but " far from the biggest"? At worst, it's still far and away the 2nd biggest, a very close 2nd. That's based on purse, attendance, car counts, atmosphere, history and prestige.

If the 50 was such a premier event all the big dogs would be at this race. I don't care where the outlaws are at. So you had 3 of the top 10 drivers in the Nation at your event. Like I said the Natty Open will probably have 9 of the 10. The Natty Open by a wide margin is the premier event in PA every year!

The outlaws were at a big race in California. I doubt very much that any of them would have wanted to run the 50.
