The biggest and baddest sprint car race on the east coast happens this week at the best facility with the best track and racing anywhere. Be there or be square!

I will be there all three days. My favorite race weekend of the year. Racing, Fair, Food, Friends. Ferris wheel outside turn 1. Couting down the minutes

I'll be there for Friday and Saturday.
Does an All-Star get the job done this year? Peck has been running very well and the Lawnmower Man (Courtney) has had some good runs up there. I look forward to seeing some new faces up there from the midwest. It's great that they've towed in.
Drinks, food, camping, racing, it'll be a fun weekend. My ass will be dragging on Monday, that's for sure.

I will be glued to Flo all weekend between this event & the World 100.
P.S. Do they call TC the Lawnmower man because he mows other guys lawns?

Bingo, Sap! I wasn't sure if anyone would pick up on the Kingpin reference and did it just to entertain myself.
I laugh out loud everytime ol' Roy Munson knocks the shit out of poor Ish.

You are no more qualified to judge that than I am. You have not been to the Tuscarora Fifty in several years and the last time that I went to to the Williams Grove National Steve Kinser won it. (I also saw Gordon Johncock and a few in between win it) That should be argued by people who attend both. My unqualified opinion is that right now Williams Grove holds a slight advantage which will eventually be reversed.

Don't you guys get tired of feeding him ? Your obviously not going to stop his babbling of port royal. I call it bullshit, 15 mins down the road he is probably at the fair getting some of the best food and seeing some of the best racing of the year. Does anyone know or ever seen him ? So, I say bullshit, enjoy the race and he'll be back babbling about lap times.
Who you got to take the 50 this year ? Lance comes in as the favorite for sure, but I like this Tyler Courtney, he is always up on the wheel.

Lance is certainly a contender as is Logan Wagner, Danny Dietrich, and Anthony Macri for the Posse. For the All Stars the contenders are Tyler Courtney and Justin Peck. However the favorite has to be Brent Marks. Also - in days past the Grove's National Open was certainly the "bigger" show but Port puts on a much better show these days. I go to both every year. The enthusiasm just isn't there at the Grove any more. So unfortunate.

WingedStrawser BS aside, while Port is great and the 50 is a top shelf event, when 6 (7 if you include Larson) of the top 10 sprint car drivers in the world are NOT at your event you can't call it the biggest race in PA.
This may change over time, but as it is now, National Open pays more and has a better quality field.

The National Open is one of the big three races in the country. That is a fact proven time and time again by the fans in the stands and the best drivers in the pits.

I'd like to know what the actual gate is at both events ? 2 big tracks with a whole lot of people in the stands and infield. The infield at port royal is larger due to the grove's front stretch pits. LOL, they both take a sizeable deposit to the bank on Monday.

Williamsgrove seats more people. The infield sizes are about the same because Port cut a lot of theres out too. The pits at Williamsgrove take up about as much room as the pushlane/tractor pull area at Port. Plus at Port they cut it off you can't get as close to the corners like you can at the grove. I would call them pretty equal on this one.
