Anyone know what car Ryan was working on at Knoxville Gators said he was working but not what car or how he did?
I guessed the 27 as good as Pittman ran but not sure.
Also what happened to Tanner Thorson havent seen his name anywhere?

I saw him around the Macri car but can't say how involved he was or if he was there in an official capacity.

Sprint Car Ratings does not show any races for Tanner Thorson since July 16.

He was up in the box working on one of Marci's motors the day I talked to him.

The 27 car and Pittman usually run very respectable at Knoxville no matter what.

Ryan had announced he was retiring as the Crew Chief for Mike Heffner prior to Greg Hodnett's passing to spend more time with his family. He took a job with Nick Macri at Macri Concrete outside of racing. He periodically helps out with the #39 team but not on a permenent basis. He does a weekly Podcast with Jeremy Elliott for Jeremy's Sprint Car Unlimited. The podcast alone, is well worth the yearly $35 subscription, besides Jeremy's excellent stories and reporting.
