Well let's get the speculation started. In the downtime tonight at Attica they talked about how Husets is gonna be 250k to win and the highest to win sprint car race of all-time and Johnny Gibson said "as of now, let's see later this week" pretty much saying that Eldora will be announcing a higher paying race. How high do we think they could be going? 275k? 500k? A million to win sprint car race? And do we think this will be a new race or an upping of the Royal/HBO?

They need to start upping the anit as the big money purses for late models are up by the count of 50 to about 6!

I don't think you'll see a million dollar sprint car race. There never going to draw the quality of cars as the slm did. In the sprint car world you can pretty much predict who races well where. Toss in the outlaws/all stars and those guys will pretty much have the field covered. I am happy for the teams, whatever comes of this I hope it's spread out were more that 1 team makes out well.

Not sure any of that is really relevant. If Eldora thinks they can draw the crowd/sell the PPV's required for a million dollar race that's what matters, not ultimately who wins. And that same argument can be used for the SLM, the top 10 of the million were all the guys you'd figure to be there and the top teams that had the field covered. That said, I don't think it'll be a million dollar race, probably upping the Royal by 100k to 275. Either way, having 2 races pay 250k at minimum to the winner is great (and higher than any SLM to my knowledge outside the million).

Just a guess, but I think Eldora will do a million dollar sprint car race like the Mopar Million but with wings this time. Let's say $300k to win $10k to start.
