That's the best tire rule yet.

It's $4000 to win with 3rd bringing home $800. I love tracks trying to do great things and trying to run races/promotions to entice fans/sponsors/drivers. But if you're going to push a discuss event it needs to be enough money wise to justify teams traveling. Luckily a few sponsors jumped on board here late ti help a tad...but I know personally it's becatse many guys backed out of their commitments after seeing the purse

I miss going to Rapid Speedway. Between Fairmont and Rock Rapids (that both raced on Friday's) I was at one or the other each weekend for many years.
Without seeing the video, it must have been a good race as every one of the top 6 finishers advanced from their starting spots, including TMAC that went from 10th to 2nd, and Colin Smith from 9th to 3rd.
16 410's, 23 305's and 15 SS isn't bad at all for an unsanctioned Tuesday night show - whether it was there or about anywhere.
And the 305 winner came from outside of the front row, and local favority Jody Rosenboom drove from 9th to 2nd, so I'm sure that got the locals all fired up.

First time watching a race at Rapid Speedway. Great venue, fair races are always fun and nostalgic. Big crowd, track prep was awesome. Took rubber mid way through the 410 feature, otherwise Timms may have had a shot at the bonus. As it was he was plenty exciting to watch try. Small car count wasn't a problem as the racing was real good. Big thank you to the fairboard and promoters for a fun night.

Doesn't really justify a $25 ticket price either.
