2 common gripes about The Posse:
A) They don't leave the porch
B) Some people don't like Dietrich
Well DD left the porch & kicked ass, just like last year!

I think it is cool that Myers attended all races even though as far from competetive as he could be. We dont all have to win and it seems he was there for the fun, or experience. It cost money so good for him.
Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

Great stats as usual Bill.
Would have been interesting to see what Marks could have done had he run all of the races.

Yes, DD has run the most 410 races the last 2 years, racers wanna race.
He got 2nd in Ohio Speedweek last year and won PA Speedweek.
3rd in Ohio Speedweek this year, would like to see him take the PA Speedweek crown again this year. I hope he runs the whole deal, probly only 12-13 will again I'd guess.
Good luck DD, give em hell.

Danny Dietrich is a wonderful competitor and continues the tradition of outside invaders striving to compete in THE Ohio Sprint Speedweek, by which all others are measured.

As much as I love Ohio speedweek as a spectator, the purse surprised me alot. 9 nights in a row and only $27k as the highest earner for the guys that scored two wins.

That's an average of $3000 a night. I don't believe that includes the Speedweek point money. With 17 cars running all week, it can't be that bad.

9 guys made of 10K during the speedweek, very good and 40 cars per night with 17 running everynight says it all.

10k is good and all, but that's essentially only start money for an outlaw feature over 9 races.
I searched on sprintcars ratings site and looked for someone to have around 10 starts to compare for example. Jordan Goldsberry who I believe runs mostly IRA has run 10 times this year and sits at $10,350.
I'm not bashing speedweek or any particular drivers. Like I said in my earlier post, just surprised me how low the purse was overall for individual drivers for such a brutal slog over 9 consecutive nights.
