So, if both of these series just decided to close up shop. Where do you feel  the woo and all-star guys would go ?

Dennis Roth on the west coast is easily the team logging the most miles to run with the woo. 

Would tracks in central pa. or knoxville up there purses to the point of making it crazy to run down the highway everyday ?

You see the slm guys, because track promotors are making money,  have the options to pick and choose were there going to race on a given weekend and it's usually for big purse increases. Many of there top cars and drivers could care less about points today.

My bet only because of track choices and being an 1 1/2 drive of each other would be pa.  I think you'd see Eldora as the place offering  big payday races.  Pa, Ohio and Indiana would be your beltway to sprint car racing.

I think it would benefit sprint car racing greatly if both series just went away. Knoxville and Williams Grove for there respective national races would be busting at the seems.

who cares.

If PA closed, where would those guys go?

Most of the teams would fold.

That makes as much sense as anything!

To give what I think would be a realistic response instead of traditional forum snarkiness, while the scenario laid out is next to never going to happen, if it did for the sake of discussion, I think you'd quickly see a new series form, likely sponsored/managed by FloRacing similar to their Late Model series.  If not them, you'd absolutely see another ambitious promoter partner with a streaming provider to start a new series before you'd ever have to worry about teams piecing together their own.  

I think only two late model heavy hitters have broken away to run a true outlaw schedule to hit all the big paydays, Overton and Owens.  If a bunch more tried it, you'd essentially have the groundwork for another series as you'd have all these "series regulars" following it.  

I do not see this happening unless economy goes to hell and diesel is $10.00 a gal. We may see the day that races are mostly viewed at home on internet.  I think high cost of racing will drive alot of small teams out of racing.

There is a million dollar Late Model race this weekend and they have more big paying shows.  That might be the best option but what would put them out of business and what affect would it have on other forms of racing in your scenario?
