IADIRT made a comment on a different thread that made me ask this question, if you could add any 3 drivers to the WoO platinum full time  group for this season who would they be? Dont worry about wether the crew chief is 85 or a driver had a day job. If all things were possible who do you think would add the most to the  WoO brand?

Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

Interesting concept. Two things that I've taken from your post that I'll base my answer on; add ANY three drivers. And WHO do you think would add the most to the woo brand?

Any drivers, boost the brand. Got it.

If the outlaw company wanted to take the brand to the next level and had an open cheque book to do so, it would be unreal for them to put together three full time rides to guys from outside of the sport.

With the exception of Tom Harris, I don't think I can think of a single driver from Europe. That's an untapped market that could potentially bring massive revenue through either dirtvision or corporate sponsorship. Find three highly rated drivers, with massive following and marketability. From three different corners of motorsport. Sports cars, open wheel, rally, 2 wheels, touring cars etc.

My top three drivers. Valentino Rossi, Kimi Raikkonen, Sebastian Loeb.

Sure, thrown in the deep end and more than likely wouldn't last a month on the tour. But with the pinnacle of professionalism and talent could bring them up to pace quite quickly. Look at how Alex Bowman has adapted. Each of these drivers could bring a % of their fanbase and personal sponsors to make it work and the sport would be better off. Who gets the best results? We'll never know.

I'll quit dreaming now.

Since you say "add to the WoO brand" I am assuming you mean adding the most value to putting butts in the stands, correct?  If this is what you're asking, the answer is simple:  1.  Kyle Larson    2. Any other driver   3.  Any other driver

The WoO is fantastic as is.  However, adding Larson, and any 2 other drivers, would create a buzz that would fill the stands at every track they visit.  (most are now)

Larson, Rico and Reutzel would be 3 good adds. If you want to be more realistic, replace Larson with Corey Day.

The addition of a weekly "bullring" mini-series with Kokomo, Pevely, Haubstadt, Limaland, (pick a cool track in Oklahoma), Grandview, Jacksonville etc... where it's got it's own point fund separate from the series. Add in a couple of Xtreme co-headlining races as well.

A one-night only race free to everyone on the WoO YouTube channel, $50k to win on a track that's guaranteed to be good racing (maybe bring back Lernerville), on a weeknight so everyone could see it (you'd of course advertise the heck out of DV while you're broadcasting).

They will never completely fund teams on tour, but I can't for the life of me understand why they've allowed Flo to beat them to the punch with this Castrol night in America. DV could easily do the bullring idea and I can't imagine it would be anything but a major hit.

i wouldn't change much.  i know this is a discussion board where you can bounce stuff off people just to see what they think.  i just worry about the nascar environment where people are always complaining and somebody important must be listening because they keep making stupid changes.

all star race in texas?  throwback race moving out of the southern 500?  7 pm qualifying at charlotte on a saturday (without the old format where they pitted)?  that's just off the top of my head.

outlaws have quality racing between quality drivers at mostly quality tracks.  they're riding a wave in dirt racing.  the two races i went in pa last month...the gettsyburgh clash and night 1 of the morgan cup...were packed.  more and more nascar drivers are trying to ride the wave too.

i would change anything that improves safety.  so that's not changing the series itself and maybe falls more on the tracks.  they even seem to be on a good streak in this area as well.  after the disaster that was 2018...correct me if i'm wrong...they haven't lost anybody and i'm even trying to think of a serious injury to a top driver.  anybody know what changes might have been made?  somebody should get some credit since it probably hasn't just been good luck.

and i thought of one other thing...rain dates.  i would be reluctant to make plans months in advance to come into pa for woo races since rain could wipe out the whole weekend.  sometimes it's impossible if they're racing somewhere the next night.  if they can swing it to run the next day or a day/night doubleheader...they should do it.  we were lucky enough to catch 2 king's royals on the same day at eldora and it was an incredible day.  we could have stayed sunday for a 3rd race.  it was part of why we decided to make the trip from pa.

Good idea except there isn't anyone else left. American Racer maybe, but I don't believe they have the production capabilities. Today and as fast as the brakes are going on in the production world I don't see anyone taking the risk of spending big money to build a tire in these uncertain times.

The iidea of a series inside a series is a great idea. Definitely would add an element of more conversation and promoting.

The IRA has that with Hopf Farms on the bull rings in Wisconsin and it does add to their series.

Larson, Rico, Lil Haud, and Ruetzel would be a marketing bonanza.  Ruetzel sure made Knoxville more interesting.

Aaron Reutzel, Wayne Johnson and Jason Sides would get them back to where they were at last year.

I'd rather see more guys drop off and run local to be honest.

Larson, Courtney, Reutzel.

My opinion is this is the best three not on the circuit full time currently. Maybe Gio but honestly subpar results in the 18 I feel like when compared to where I'd thought he would be by now after leaving the Indy Race Parts 71. I thought he had potential to be as good or better than Larson. No longer have that feeling and strange enough think Dominic has been way hotter than Gio as of late.

I guess we need to define it means by adding to the WOO brand. If that means who will finish the highest in points then yes you're pretty close.

Excluding Larson b/c that's a given:

Bacon, runs any type of car and does well. Sells merchandise and is good a self promoting. Aaron does neither unless. I guess A-Aron could sell bicycles.

Buddy Kofoid; people know who he is and currently leads the midget series, has a ton of potential beyond what he's currently producing.

Dom; reminds me of the older generation or racers. Not afraid to say how he feels; funny

The 3 most popular at the National Level, that would help attendance no matter where they show up. Those are the ones I've heard the loudest cheers for and noticed by the amount of shirts I see at the tracks I've been to the last 2 years in Ohio, PA, Indiana, California, New Mexico, Iowa and Missouri, would be:

Larson, Rico, Courtney.   Only Sheldon comes close on the swag counter.

Gio basically runs a modified WoO tour so results will be off given hes racing against the top teams most nights. As for comparisons to Larson, even Donny Schata can't compare so to use that as your benchmark is not right. Also Gio is 19-20, he's going to be really good down the road if this is the career he chooses.
