Wow what a race track last night! 15 second time trails, High 16 to low 17 seconds in the feature. The real Speed Palace. Very happy that I went last night.

Fast track thats great. but seems to me most 410 drivers stay away from Selinsgrove. Seems what ever they pay they barely ever get a full field let alone enough cars to make it interesting. Tell me last time they had 35 plus 410"s I will wait.

It is not 35 but for the Nace Memorial they had 33 last year. I have been to races that have had 40+ cars and the racing was not that good. I have been to races back in the 90's and some the last few years that have 18 to 24 cars and the racing was great! It doesn't matter on how many cars....it matters if it is good racing with multiple grooves.
Let's go Sprint Car Racing!
Knoxville - Best Track In the USA!
Eldora - 2nd Best Track in the USA!

Murphy, I am not getting into it with these two but if you have access it anywhere check out the starting positions compared to the finish. Also consider that macri dropped out on the last lap while second and fished ninth. I guess they were going fast though.

I wasn't at Selinsgrove last night. Nor did I comment on the racing there. The only thing I commented on was the car count.
You can have the slip and slide in Juniata County. Who cares about the heats? The feature should be your best race of the night period.....not the heats. Get it wet at the beginning of the night and by the time the feature rolls around you will have a great race.
The other week when my son and I went to Williamsgrove for the second night of the outlaws they had the perfect track. That is until it drizzled for about an hour or so. They had the perfect track before the sprinkles killed it the track was really getting racey.

I was waiting all night and all day for the "race of the year" comments. Anyone that enjoyed any of those races last night has got to be really whacked. That 410 race was one of the worst races ever. A 12 second win. Ask DD what he thought. LM were no better at all. Seriously, besides Macri (as usual) tell me one exciting part of the entire evening. Good lord I was bored out of my mind from heats to feature.

I understand. I'm a fan of smaller tracks because they are racier. A big, fast track is fine, if there's some racing going on, not just fast driving,

Actually I am as bad as you. Between nights off and trying to plant crops around the rain I haven't been to race in a month. I should make it this week because after the rain we have had today what is coming tonight I won't be planting anything until the middle of next week.

That sounds like me when I used to go to the Juniata county oval. I was so bored so I stopped going there.

DD started 9th and finished 3rd in the feature. That isn't too bad. I wasn't there nor did I see the highlights.

Let me take a wild guess....it was a high speed, strung out parade on a heavy wet track with a cushion that was only half-way up? That's the usual way they prepare it for the 410's so they can talk about lap times all night. That's why the place doesn't have much support from the fans or cars anymore. I live 5 minutes away and didn't even bother last night. Save my money for the Weikert this weekend where at least I'll see some passing and cars up along the wall where they should be.

You couldn't give me a free ticket to the races at Port Royal. That is still way too expensive! Too much gas to get to the Port when I only live 15 minutes away. I however will go to Lincoln and Williamsgrove.......just saying!!!

No I havn't. I am speaking the truth, not as I see it. The truth and only the truth!!
Most on here hid behind screen names. I put my name out there.
I LOVE sprint car racing. I love it so much that I will not put up with a subpar track. Meaning lack of preparing a track.
I go to Lincoln, Selinsgrove, and Williamsgrove in cental PA. Eldora and Knoxville I go to as well.
Not the Juniata county oval. When they get there speeds into the 15 second bracket at the beginning of the night. I will start to think about it again. Until then....no thank you! Too many other tracks to visit.
