I criticized the weekly fields last year at Knoxville but kudos to them for upping the purses and getting much larger and better fields. The racing has been excellent this year.

He was running a bowtie. From what I understand, the Toyota engines are at Rider getting refresheshed.

Great weekend from the Village of Lester. Kyle Larson and Aaron Reutzel win for the Folkens Bros Trucking and on a smaller note Lee Goos Jr wins at Husest's in a 305 with the sponsor Hoogies Garage also from the Village of Lester.

There has been a Chevrolet style engine under the hood for quite a while. The Toyota signage has been mosly removed except for a few wings where it's in the center. I'm definately not in the know there but looks like Toyota has dissappeared.

You don't have to look under the hood. Chevy has the two center exhaust ports together. Ford or Toyota has the exhaust ports equally spaced so there's space between the center exhaust ports.

Toyota has left the 8 car and will not be returning. Rider is repairing/refreshing the engines to be distributed to other teams

I thought I had read that the three drivers slated to run the Toyotas in 2022 were Madsen (83Jr), Reutzel (8) and Wolfe (5W) which would be a car on the west coast, midwest and east coast to gather data for all types of tracks and conditions. In all honesty, there has been very little publicity or chatter since that announcement????

Yep, Reutzel's interview after setting quick time answers that. He said that both he and Madsen, who timed 2nd, were running the Toyota.
