This car is the last year for Frank Campbell ownership.  The maroon and white cars were the best and the mural  on the rear trailer door. The Camel Express car was one of the most iconic cars in Central Pa. The Camel/Nace/ Jimmy Russell  (crew chief, underrated) was one badass combination.  Just check all the track titles and winning the 1987 Pabst title in dramatic fashion.

I went to school in Millerstown,Pa the home of Camel Express and the race car was kept at the western  edge of town at J.P. Russell oil.   If I didn't  see at least 3 Camel Express shirts a day in school something  was wrong.  Plus other sprint car shirts,it was always a topic of conversation  on Monday who won at Port and Selinsgrove.  Even the girls were wearing sprint car shirts.  I  doubt people even talk about racing in school. I hope I am wrong.

A question  for you B Strawser26.  Why did the Camel car always run Selinsgrove  instead  of Port Royal on Saturday nights?

Thank you Fish for posting this great picture and the other ones also.

Camel Express #26 ran at Selinsgrove before Nace when Barry Camp drove it. Won the track title in 80 and 81 I believe. The car was blue then instead of maroon. There were nights when Nace would pull a Selinsgrove/Port double. If Selinsgrove was finished early enough, they would high tail it down Rt. 35 and tag the rear of the feature at Port if they had a short field. Stevie Smith did it a few times too.
